I would rate MS1i on par or better than SR125, a lot of mods has been done by our fellow lowyatrians and it all sounded good.unfortunately for us there isnt any shop in malaysia as far as i know that stocks headphones n let us audiotion it... if you are a freq traveler to singapore, you can try jaben.. And MS1, you can audition from us. Sometimes we also sell Grados. Music by design in city square you can get Grados. |

QUOTE(huh? @ Nov 10 2009, 10:01 PM) i can help you to make a custom air chamber from aluminum.. Wow aluminum. its interesting from aesthetic point of view but how about the SQ? will it make it warmer? i agree with you about the brightness. would really like to reduce it a bit.but.. wood.. i think you better find a good carpenter to do it.. grado's sound signature is a tad bit bright.. even to my ears.. not sure what will help to reduce the brightness.. other than that.. i love my sr60i with canare f-12 plug, grill mod n put some tack it inside the air chamber to reduce the vibration Added on November 24, 2009, 3:42 pm QUOTE(kamikraze @ Nov 23 2009, 08:06 AM) after a while (1-2 hours) of listening to grado, you will feel uncomfortable because like what others have said the pad presses your ear. The head band is also somehow too strong in clamping your head. I tried to carefully stretch the headband. it helps a bit or perhpas i have gotten used to the clamping power? hahaAdded on November 24, 2009, 3:46 pm QUOTE(huh? @ Nov 23 2009, 09:28 AM) yerp, the ear pads sits on your ears... imagine putting your hands on your ears.. thats how it is.. agree with small but not so much with portable, for me, the build quality makes it hard to just throw it into the bag and start moving around. some purchased hard cover to carry it around heheunlike most other headphones, the earpads are big enough to cover the whole ear as in the pads are not touching your ears.. they are small and very portable.. but not recommended to use grado in an open environment as it leaks a lot.. well.. what do you expect from a open back headphones anyway right? hehe This post has been edited by liat-liat: Nov 24 2009, 03:46 PM |
