about the modding tho, can anyone suggest me something to do with my rs1 to make it more comfy? prolonged wearing makes me ears hurt
*
well what i did was i bend/straighten the headband to my preference of comfort..and i place the headphones driver a bit towards the front of my ears rather than directly on top of my ears.. it gives more soundstage as well by doing this... other than that you find some other pads that is more comfy i suppose.. senn pads is a good start..

No money le... The SR325i is RM1k+ since he said much better than Allesandro MS1i... I would like to get that one, no point for me to get SR125i. Well I'm not sure about SR225i though...

Anyone here can compare SR125i, SR225 vs SR325? In term of Low - Mid - High frequency, and specifically in bass frequency. Can also add some other factors if you like? Why don't Grado's owner join the teh tarik session which posted on the forum's thread

huhuh... one thing that is for sure is that you gotta commit n say this to your heart "i got what i want" else.. you will be upgrading/changing each month..huhuh.. even if you got the highest end of grado, i dont think you will be satisfied with it once you found something better than it... tongue.gif

Uh... my next headphone will be the last one that is why I'm still lurking in audiophilles thread. HD555 is one my best bet. It's not much but I have a very limited budget. Got other things to get also flex.gif

I'm workin on that day to compensate my leave during Eid al-Adha, but I got some other forumers that I know are going, so that is why I wonder if there is any Grado's owner is going. So I can ask these guys to test during the gath biggrin.gif

OMG icon_question.gif

hahaha...

grill mod, canare f-12 plugs, tack it inside the air chamber to reduce the vibrations.. thats about it for now

canare star quad cables, holey pads coming next week n alu air chamber when i got the time to machine it.. wanna try alu before going woody smile.gif

you can look at the pics i posted here..

sr60i really "rocks" the rock.. huhuh.. thats what i can say.. it has bright sound signature.. n im comparing this between an AD300 and AT ck-300M IEM that i have..

the lows is not that great to be honest.. certainly not for those with bass in mind.. but this doesnt mean that there is no lows .. the bass/lows is there just not something that will make you say WOW..

snares n symbals are the bomb with grado since it is bright.. this is what really makes me smile...

the signature of grado is bright.. soundstage is abit narrow.. you felt like you are sitting beside a speaker in a concert but with less bass impact..

this is my noob review on it..heheh..

the mods do help the sr60i to unleash the low n mid freqs..

welll the headphone is loose, just that its soo bloody uncomfly that even with doing the headband it is very uncomfy still. the soundstage thing i feel kinda meh, doesnt sound right to me i always adjust it back.

senns? i dont think it would fit, ive not seen any other pads fitting grado. the shape is just tooo different.

I am kinda regret of selling my heavily mod MS1, stock GS1K and RS-1. Thinking of getting another pair of Grado phone now but the PS-1 is beyond my budget for now.

i assume the uncomfortable feeling comes from the pads as it is sometimes uncomfortable to me as well after long use..

the holey pads are actually hd414 pads.. it fits the grado nicely as far as i know.. why dont you try that?
