What the package and price? i am willing to pay, as long as it is worth and not expensive.., hmm, i actually thinking about FREE ISP if this is possible., like, our phone got connected, as long as you have phone line, we can online already, just like how we make normal call, as long as we have phone line, we can to anywhere to the world...

Based on this theory, one can actually uses the net for free but of cause have to pay Telekom land line fees..., still it's ok because my mum loves to cook "phone porridge", lol..

Hmm., but i am not clear about the technology, lol, maybe we really need to go and see how people do in the Europe then come back to apply what we have learnt, but.., naah, i think we go there watch UERO 2008l better, airfares not cheap at all..

Sigh, everything i know like "half bucket of water" only.., "jin pai seh !"

LOL free net. Even the idea of it could end you up in Jail. If you even try implementing it you probably get chased off the country. Streamyx is like a parasite they will latch onto us and suck us dry for every penny we are worth. Only way i see us having alternative providers is when satellite broadcasting becomes the next big thing. Then you could use something like Paypal and pay for your net connection. I don't see our government letting any other ISP rivaling TMnut .

There are alternative choices in certain parts of the country like KL, Klang, Penang but sadly Melaka is not 1 of em. I might have to head over to my condo in KL just to be able to use the net sanely. I was bored and did some lookups on alternatives in my state tried Jaring sadly their coverage doesn't include my area boo hoo .

I heard from a friend of mine TNB might be launching net connection through your plug in electrical points. I doubt he is telling me the truth or even there is such a thing. If there is i wouldn't mind trying it out. I would never use wireless though because it really isn't stable enough when playing online games so that sucks big time.

Soon EURO 2008 is about to come to an end bloody hell why doesn't Astro come out with a satellite connection via their Astro package .

I don't understand, i am not doing any crime, i just provided better service..., of cause must apply license and everything... TMNUT sux our money and sux at their service and yet so expensive.., if i have apportunity i will setup an alternative ISP, i want to be Firefox.

Hm, i am not not from Kl, but Selangor is near KL, not much alternative at all and the price is very expensive, such as Maxis broadband, Celcom broadband, etc...

Yup! I already stopped WOW 3 months was a freaking Gladiator now season 4 started and i'm not gonna continue till this issue get's sorted out. RM115 2 months reload for the game and it's unplayable due to high ping and very unstable connection. I wish we could set up a new ISP but it's costs a lot and TMnut will do everything to stop us from being the dominant player in the market.

Only way i see it is pack bag switch countries i think 100% Israel has better connection. I can download P2P very fast while missiles fly over me . So if i do get shotdown at least i know my download completed .

IanLim have you watched movies like Mission Impossible or Matrix well if those characters were to come to Malaysia and say send a file and if the file doesn't get sent all humanity is lost guess what . I think the program before it starts transmitting will say your using TMnut ISP your already dead .

Morale of the story anything to do with saving humanity from utter destruction that involves internet usage stay away from Malaysia you have DOOMED US ALL! .

To not have a monopolized economy you gotta stop the government from putting their brother, sister, uncle, niece, grandfather, grandmother etc. in powerful positions in the economy. Also a 2 term reigning prime minister is way better than what we currently have established and that is wait till he is 70 or teeth all has dropped out then switch leader.

Leaders changed often bring a lot of change because each leader has a different vision unlike our inbreeding of leaders which equals their baby TMnut .

Monopolization is the normal thing here because from what i see the moment there is a competitor in any market the ones backed by the government roll over so fast like a dog just got hit by a car on the high way. They can't stand on their on 2 feet so they expect the government to breast feed em.

Off topic too,Wait, you forgot Air Asia., which is a very strong competitor to MAS. Tony Fernandez not even from the airline field, he was a manager from entertainment industry, but who would have thought..??

Air Asia now even got to KLSE while MAS was down to drain was saved by the government once more.. One big joke on MAS is now the CEO urges to show our royalty to this country by taking MAS service, does he even know what he was talking about..?? Air Asia become very successful in just a few years time..

So, there was Air Asia, an alternate to MAS. It's tough, but if we can get our hands together on this., we wil be the Firefox over TMNUT..

Yup have to agree. Problem is it's very risky business going up against a huge monopoly economy and to top it up government backed if they run into any problems. I am sure large ISP providers in US, Europe hell i even bet you SingTel from Singapore would love to come into our market to get a bigger share of the pie .

If they do their research before coming into this market for sure they can hear us screaming . They won't even need to right away set up 4mb connection but stable 1/2mb connections. Get peoples confidence in their service then roll out the upgrades to the network. My friends in Singapore all taunt me how funny Screamyx . Always say i should just head over to their country . Only problem i feel that country a bit like a jail with too many rules .

I swear to god soon we be hearing people in Zimbabwe having faster connection then us that is the day i fly a plane into TMnut!

Hmm., i tried to digged something about ISP from that country., cant find a package with its price..

Zimbabwe now in the middle of an internal political battle economy is like 100% inflation or more. I was just saying if they do ever come around getting an ISP provider and it's better then TMnet well i would be totally flabbergasted.

Another stupid #@$#@%# experience with TMNUT today, i wasn't able to browse on certain website, and i end up always calling to the call centre, the support reset the port, everything is resolved...

So., that day, same thing happens again, the support suggested made a report because he says is not my modem problem else i won't able to logon to the net at all, ok., so, they made a report, the next morning, i got a call said the port here they fixed, whatever, any problem please refer back to the report.., report closed..

Then yesterday, same thing happens again, i called, the support reset the port, is working again, again the support suggested to make a new report, i see no point.., still i want to see if they have any new method to solves the problem..

This morning, i suddently saw an incoming call indicator from my own home, strange, nobody is calling that time.., so, i thought must be mistake, i ignored it, until my house phone rang and my dad pick up, oh is the technician calling me., he wonder why i didn't pick my handphone, i was thinking, "wtf? call my hp using my house phone, waaah, he no need to pay oh, smart S!"

So the technician says, they check no problem with the port at my area, and request to come to my house to check on my pc.., he suspects maybe modem problem or virus.., i was thinking "wtf?! This is newly upgraded, fresh installed PC, where got virus??" I said, how to check, this problem doesn't happens all the time, it happens sometimes, and only on certain website, but it resolves by reset port from call centre... Seems, i had already called yesterday, and the port reset, sure they will not able to detect whats went wrong..., but he keep on arguing if i don't let him check on my house how they gonna know what the problem, this indicate the technician insist the problem is came from my house.. instead of somewhere outside.. But i also insist that the port is reset, and sure lah now no such problem already, how you gonna check..? The technician behtahan, wanted to hang on me, and he said, anything please call him, don't report anymore.., conversation end.....

I was like...., "what a totally FIRST CLASS service and attitude !" ... , hello, mr TMNUT techcnian, i am an IT graduate, you thought me is NOOB ah ? Anything also don't know??? Got virus i don't know meh? Also, my modem, don't blame on it..., poor modem always got blame by TMNUT..., i know is not your fault..!!!

From today, i swear, i wont call to them anymore.., if the website i am not able to load now, i will try later, if not later, next day, next week, whatever, i won't call them anymore, extremely pointless!!

Sup bro. Very nice read i so hard. I got phone call today 2 times by TMnut today also. 1st ring me up ask if my connection ok i was like you phone me at this time of coz it is ok . It was like 8pm or so. She was like so the net now is fine i was like yeah perfect no problems at all. So she said will phone after 2pm i said ok .

Around 12pm the sohai itchy i think rang me said email her . So i said fine I'll e-mail you at 3pm onwards. Guess what e-mail she want the speedometer test. I about to take my handphone and fling it across the state into her face . So i said fine I'll do it. Well i tried 3 different times access speedometer dunno people hack it or what bloody ready going backwards. Wtf so godly . It read 1, 2, 3, 4 till like 7 then start counting backwards then say server full. I tried other hours same result so i wrote the e-mail said screw it i use more reliable and trustworthy speedtests like speakeasy.net and speedtest.net.

I said at 1.40pm i did a speedtest and my speed to New York was 800 - 900 and at around 3pm+ i did one wtf 200 - 400 it struggling hit 400. It look like I was forcing my connection up Mount Everest. So i wrote the e-mail stating the problem and to change the DSLAM or get an admin to give me a server free of congestion and throttle problems. So I'm waiting for episode 2 tomorrow when she rings me up with i hope a solution.

I told them I'm ok paying for Fair Usage policy because i hardly P2p and Best Effort policy because i get 800+ from 1mb. What I'm F not ok with is Congestion line policy = Throttle Policy i said this i will not stand for either build the hardware to accommodate the user you get or don't subscribe more users then your F ports can handle. So put me into a new port or open up more IP ranges or bloody upgrade my lines this is your choices .

I'm gonna kill em if they bullshit me tomorrow.

As for Maxis or Celcom broadband, it's not cheap, it's wireless, thought, not stable for online streaming videos or gaming..., and not much coverage..

LOL sound like guys name . So you not gonna phone when your connection reaches a speed of 33600 slower then 56k modem . I say you should phone em and get this sorted out. I know it's frustrating but as you will only pile up the problems. 1st port problem then throttle problem then line congestion problem then you cannot even cannot to the net.

KiyoshiJoz yup with current attitude of country cincai only do stuff this what happens. Problem is always Malaysia don't really put up a fight unlike western countries where they will stand up for their rights.
