IanLim look at thier packages:
http://www.singnet.com.sg/plans_and_servic...asp?snbb=10Matl 3mb, 8mb, 10mb Don't convert their money to ours because that price range will suit them but damn quality and download speed way better than ours. Double our 4mb bullshit Malaysia should let SingTel come here and compete i give 6months TMnut has no customers say they gonna concentrate just on phone lines streamyx packages closed down due to idiots managing the company. |

IanLim RM77 3MB wiping
Also another thing that is good about Singtel is they monitor games. Look at this thread http://www.singnet.com.sg/dedacc1/online_gaming.asp If you talk about game ping and latency issues to our TMnut well 1st thing they do is blame the game 2nd blame international link and if the game has a host in Malaysia blame the other host. I play WOW on [Mal'ganis server/US Realm] and my ping was so high i talked to TMnet showed tracert everything they didn't get it. Finally i called California and talked to Blizzard rep after sending mails and proof of my ISP failures they said they would phone our admin people in TM and fix this issue. In like 4 days my net connection was back to normal and they mailed me having resolved the issue with my ISP. Now that is what i call bloody service This post has been edited by Xtryfe: Jun 23 2008, 08:26 PM |

LOL free net. Even the idea of it could end you up in Jail. If you even try implementing it you probably get chased off the country. Streamyx is like a parasite they will latch onto us and suck us dry for every penny we are worth. Only way i see us having alternative providers is when satellite broadcasting becomes the next big thing. Then you could use something like Paypal and pay for your net connection. I don't see our government letting any other ISP rivaling TMnut
There are alternative choices in certain parts of the country like KL, Klang, Penang but sadly Melaka is not 1 of em. I might have to head over to my condo in KL just to be able to use the net sanely. I was bored and did some lookups on alternatives in my state tried Jaring sadly their coverage doesn't include my area boo hoo I heard from a friend of mine TNB might be launching net connection through your plug in electrical points. I doubt he is telling me the truth or even there is such a thing. If there is i wouldn't mind trying it out. I would never use wireless though because it really isn't stable enough when playing online games so that sucks big time. Soon EURO 2008 is about to come to an end bloody hell why doesn't Astro come out with a satellite connection via their Astro package This post has been edited by Xtryfe: Jun 24 2008, 05:05 PM |

Yup! I already stopped WOW 3 months was a freaking Gladiator now season 4 started and i'm not gonna continue till this issue get's sorted out. RM115 2 months reload for the game and it's unplayable due to high ping and very unstable connection. I wish we could set up a new ISP but it's costs a lot and TMnut will do everything to stop us from being the dominant player in the market.
Only way i see it is pack bag switch countries i think 100% Israel has better connection. I can download P2P very fast while missiles fly over me IanLim have you watched movies like Mission Impossible or Matrix well if those characters were to come to Malaysia and say send a file and if the file doesn't get sent all humanity is lost guess what Morale of the story anything to do with saving humanity from utter destruction that involves internet usage stay away from Malaysia you have DOOMED US ALL! Leaders changed often bring a lot of change because each leader has a different vision unlike our inbreeding of leaders which equals their baby TMnut Monopolization is the normal thing here because from what i see the moment there is a competitor in any market the ones backed by the government roll over so fast like a dog just got hit by a car on the high way. They can't stand on their on 2 feet so they expect the government to breast feed em. This post has been edited by Xtryfe: Jun 24 2008, 11:52 PM |

Yup have to agree. Problem is it's very risky business going up against a huge monopoly economy and to top it up government backed if they run into any problems. I am sure large ISP providers in US, Europe hell i even bet you SingTel from Singapore would love to come into our market to get a bigger share of the pie
If they do their research before coming into this market for sure they can hear us screaming I swear to god soon we be hearing people in Zimbabwe having faster connection then us that is the day i fly a plane into TMnut! This post has been edited by Xtryfe: Jun 25 2008, 12:05 AM |

Zimbabwe now in the middle of an internal political battle economy is like 100% inflation or more. I was just saying if they do ever come around getting an ISP provider and it's better then TMnet well i would be totally flabbergasted.

Sup bro. Very nice read i
Around 12pm the sohai itchy i think rang me said email her I said at 1.40pm i did a speedtest and my speed to New York was 800 - 900 and at around 3pm+ i did one wtf 200 - 400 it struggling hit 400. It look like I was forcing my connection up Mount Everest. So i wrote the e-mail stating the problem and to change the DSLAM or get an admin to give me a server free of congestion and throttle problems. So I'm waiting for episode 2 tomorrow when she rings me up with i hope a solution. I told them I'm ok paying for Fair Usage policy because i hardly P2p and Best Effort policy because i get 800+ from 1mb. What I'm F not ok with is Congestion line policy = Throttle Policy i said this i will not stand for either build the hardware to accommodate the user you get or don't subscribe more users then your F ports can handle. So put me into a new port or open up more IP ranges or bloody upgrade my lines this is your choices I'm gonna kill |

KiyoshiJoz yup with current attitude of country cincai only do stuff this what happens. Problem is always Malaysia don't really put up a fight unlike western countries where they will stand up for their rights. We just lay down keep shaking our head because we are very understanding people. Sadly they use that against us as an advantage and just make use of us. I do like this country but not what it's shaping up to be. I just hope globalization would faster hit our country so foreign companies can give our local businesses a real go.
I'm also tired lah chase this dogs round and round the merry go round. Omfg but I'm not gonna lay down and die. This is what i sing to TMnut when i find an alternative ISP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRNGR4TPPo8. LOL never bothered seeing your gender icon. From what i see it say's your a Devil and me Sure you want to come 2 Sweden feel free I'll pack you up in my luggage. Tomorrow when TMnut phone me I'm getting i will survive ring tone just for them |

I did a speedtest on this site http://www.testmy.net/. Wow look at the result. Your connection is: 71 Kbps or 0.1 Mbps You downloaded at: 9 kB/s You are running: 1 times faster than 56K and can download 1 megabyte in 113.78 second(s) Member Ident: CompID:10830289935900 Test Time:: 2008/06/26 - 8:41am Test Browser and OS info: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Test ID: LGB9NJ0QA (if this is a screenshot go to testmy.net to see if this is fake) Diagnosis ^info^: May need help : running at only 27.52 % of your hosts average (149.206) This was tested from a 1013 kB file and took 116.876 seconds to complete It seems many international links are ok but as usual random certain site fast certain site i also dunno what happen. The bloody test is just laughing at me telling me go get better broadband service That site looks like a Malaysian site somemore. Well IanLim connection to internatinal links today seems better for me. Still way better after 2am but it's slowly getting there. DSL light signal acted up again by getting weaker. Light was fading in and out and a switch off and on did the trick. If it arises again well i gotta call 100 magic number get this new problem sorted.
I tried gaining information from the tech support to find out if their secretly upgrading the lines and causing line congestion but sadly i was speaking to another kindergarten tech. I was like are you all upgrading lines to international links and he answers your report some 1 will attend to it i asked same question another 2 times same answer. F brainless I asked status of my report this one was godly I swear to god talking to these customer service people you lose brain cells faster then smoking, drinking put together This post has been edited by Xtryfe: Jun 29 2008, 08:23 PM |
