Mann... Overclocking really shorten da procs lifespan... My Old E2180 is really critical rite now... Now running @ 3.0ghz edi... I wonder how long more my proc can last b4 it really give way... Gotta back up my work quickly... Once my old baby rosak edi, I m gonna get another E2 series n back 2 O.C Long time dis thread been idle

E2170??? I think u r referring 2 E2160??? Respect u.... Me too... After my E2180 kong also gonna get another E2XXX series... Maybe if can get a gud E2180... Lots of sweet memories while Ocing my E2180... N now, its going anytime... Nearly a year I stop playing OCing, but still got knowledge bout ocing dis E2XXX... Juz hav 2 polish it up... hahahaaa...

Very limited rare gem. So far I know of 3 only in Malaysia iinm. But sad thing is mine is FSB limited to arnd 420, so no killer 4Ghz OC

then how you judge your proc was degraded?

His problem has been for awhile already. Reason is lastime he set voltage to 1.55v and leave it on 24/7 (correct me if i'm wrong rozz). If left running at such high voltages for long periods, procs eventually degrade. The initial effect would be that they need higher voltage to run at same speed stable, eventually reaching a point where the proc cant be stable anymore. Something like old cars that start drinking lots of petrol

Waa... u still remember the old days ar... Yup u r rite... In fact, a bit more higher... 1.6vcore @ 3.6ghz. Untl now still running on water cooled... but da proc I hav 2 downclock to 3.2ghz @ 1.55v... But wat is most important... is da IP-35E mobo... hahahaa... still running strong...

Well, I guess my days of xtreme ocing is over... We were all benchmarking 2 get da fastest SuperPI 4 E2XXX procs...

Me broke into 16 sec with lousy value ram

But since then damn lazy to replicate the results

My watercooling is still da same old setup... MCP-655B pump, TT single loop dual rad, dis water block I 4got da name edi.. U r running on WC also???
