Awaken this dead thread abit. Now playing with dro's ex 2160. 3.75ghz on IP35-E + air





Seems like FSB wall preventing me from goin any higher . FSB418+ starts getting unstable n eventually unbootable by 424

EDIT: if anyone is interested, my old 2160 M0 is up for grabs

going 420+fsb needs some tweaking
or maybe time to upgrade to more "frenly" mobo

Btw....seems like IP35-E is quite E2XXX frenly. Heard foxconn mars hates them.

Yeap... I've used Foxconn Mars and apparently E2k series doesn't clock well with them.

i did 3.7ghz before my mobo died on me after i was running stress test
wouldnt turn on afta shut down =(
but still i do tink its possible to get 3.8:)

i tink to fully oc E2XXX really do depends on the mobo itself
im sure Bronto11 got a lot of help frm his lovely mobo there

the G0 couldn't reach 4ghz on air
maxed out at 3823mhz =S (on tpower)

3.9 oso would require mod to achieve it on air

i keep add voltage oni to CPU, NB, SB, PWM...Juz keep trying...I once shoot at 3.9XXGHz but blue screen seems to appear...=.= The highest voltage i add to cpu is 1.86V when doin tis... Hyper 212 nice lo..One more thing, if not mistaken, the temperature is 4XºC tat time...

Added on October 7, 2008, 2:35 amb4 i use ix38, ip35e oso can do the same, but it need more voltage than ix38 n it is veli veli hot on the pwm area, fly to 57ºC, dangerous!

IMHO this G0 is hitting FSB wall ady. I've tested with 8X multi and it maxes at arnd the same FSB. Maybe a better mobo could be able to squeez out a few more mhz from it .

might try BSEL and oc.....if someone can lend me sliver pen
