joestar, you should be doing 17.5 seconds with 3.4Ghz, and i am using team value too. U dont need crucial rams for such things. Let me post my SP1m.

i did joestars 18.6seconds with just team value rams and also not to mention just 3.2Ghz

the speed is just 2400Mhz coz of EIST and C1E

SuperPI @ tight timing + higher CPU clock total pawnage brows.gif

i remember the old days when i'm on DDR 700, while some at DDR 500 IIANM, but mine @3-4-4-8, while him... extremely tight, it's not 2-2-2-5, it's way tighter than that and some figure was at 0 value... thumbup.gif

well, that's the old days, currently i'm on 2x1GB + 1x1GB (3 RAM Modules) with loose timing (5-5-5-15) @DDR2 800MHz, also Kingston KVR + Aeneon..., not badla for crappy chipset available biggrin.gif

overclocking isn't entirely about luck... it's about get the most potential possibility of your (whatever) processor, RAM and GPU you have at the moment... mellow.gif

Btw since you also hv team value i wanna ask u, currently i am having a problem booting above 850mhz even at 5-5-5-15. Strange thing is i can boot fine at 850mhz with 4-4-4-11 sweat.gif Any ideas?? I'm ald overvolting it to 2.2v. Lastime with my amd system the ram nvr used to be stable above 900mhz.

EDIT: just realized the screenshot i took doesnt show the ram speed sweat.gif Anyway it is at 426(852mhz) with 4-4-4-12-2T

EDIT2: suddenly I'm booting above 850mhz. Weird sweat.gif More testing to come rclxm9.gif

I just realized that there's a huge voltage increasing to run 3Ghz to 3.2Ghz for a E2 series.

yeah coz of the native strap and the voltage needed would be at a non linear rate.

whats your fsb:dram ratio for this? is it at default? i play at 4:5 or 2:3 i think.. Ratios can often give varied results.

Added on March 21, 2008, 8:21 pmi realise from all my experience that once u have IGP on your board, ur just asking for trouble.. thats why performance boards that i see dont come with IGP, i am not too sure... i am looking at the IGP option, but...

no $$ to buys mars..so m considering foxconn p35a
as it can cf..although 16x/4x...but similar price to ip35 le

everest might be better for reading temps of allendale processors. In core temps, the T-JUnction for this type of processors are 85 degrees centigrade, this means that you will have to remeasure the temps in relevance to the Tjunction= 100 degrees centigrade... I am not sure how many degrees you would have to add to get that.. everest follows the Tjunction = 100. This is what i read from core temps.. it might be true..
