why dun you look for a umobile's default modem, ZTE MF622?

if you plan to BT , this is a cool gadget

technically, U Mobile only at 3.6Mbps.

getting a 7.2Mbps modem is just as assurance for future upgrade (or even use for DiGi if they starts hitting >3.6Mbps).

for ZTE seller, get from andrewdavid. he manually flashes all units with latest firmware to support 7.2Mbps. also he has a guy to help him COD. I did my COD in 1 hr time (after confirming via phone) biggrin.gif

btw, if u're unsure, u can get him to bring several modems to compare (see only la) ... his COD guy carries few models with him smile.gif

i was choosing between ZTE and Huawei E220 during COD.

price for Huawei is cheaper for 1yr warranty than ZTE.

for me, i just wanted a cheaper n reliable modem. if the ZTE is cheaper, i would've gotten it smile.gif

at June, the price for ZTE-MF622 is RM320 with 6 months warranty or RM350 with 1 year warranty.

now it's RM250 with 6 months warranty or RM280 with 1 year warranty!

dammit! haha sweat.gif

it's all depends on location, location, location.

also how many subscribers are online at the same time, on the same area as you.

the more congested ur area is, the slower (higher ping) it gets.

btw, ur friend is connected at the same spot with you? no point comparing them at other places.

to have equal comparison, try on the same spot/area and same time period (morning vs morning, afternoon vs afternoon etc; not morning vs afternoon etc.)

different time period has different loading and usage.
