maybe u can wait for the cable repair is done, then re-evaluate again the performance.

if it's still bad, u can call U Mobile's Customer Service to know if there's any network/quality issue.

if still not resolved, bye-bye U Mobile.

no idea 'bout torrenting & online gaming (i dont use both).

i mainly uses RapidShare/etc. for downloads.

if u read the previous posts, anything software/tools that requires faster/bigger upload speed and bandwidth may not be recommended to use U Mobile's, Celcom's and Maxis' 3G Broadband.

The only 2 mobile broadband services that have better upload performance is P1 WiMAX and DiGi 3G Broadband.

try calling their CS and mention about warranty status and validity period.

normally, it's 1yr after purchase. Prepare the necesary documents at hand (bill or payments or anything that's related to ur modem's status).

QUOTE(evilzeal @ Sep 2 2009, 10:39 AM)
anyone staying at section 14,pj using umobile broadband? how is the speed when surf net, gaming? i cannot find the coverage page from the u mobile website, other state can use u mobile broadband?
*
i re-posted the original coverage map before they took it down (dunno why)

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=27284278

that map is a bit outdated. Alternative is to check their normal 3G map.

last resort (final confirmation): call them! sweat.gif
