if the price and location is right, they can lock me 5 years also can.

i've been using Shitmyx for xx years now, so a little contract to have BETTER service is negligible smile.gif

at home use, i'm staying away from wireless broadband (WiMAX or HSxPA).

sigh what to do, it's a basic telco wireless broadband running on hsdpa.

maxis and celcom also face similar, if not all, issues as U Mobile.

new joiner like Digi able to take advantage by offereing better-than-hsdpa. this is also with their low-profile strategy (= low customer in take, maintain network stability = better performance in long run)

P1 is another story, so no point comparing it with telcos.

Time's offering is very good actually, but it seems they've been stagnant within the 'selected' locations. darn!

performance varies from place to place and density of users.

more ppl using at an area, the more congested the traffic will be smile.gif

u're lucky to have such nice performance with 1 signal bar smile.gif

mine at home with 4 bars, but download at avg 2Mbps wink.gif

'bout capping, UM have FUP in place (5GB) but it's not really enforced, yet (!). so, better enjoy the 'benefit'!! smile.gif

downside for U Mobile is poor upload bcuz they only have HSDPA: high-speed downstream, poor upstream.

DiGi is HSPA, so they have much better upstream/downstream performance wink.gif

however, in my house, DiGi performance is very poor due to lack of coverage. my sis' keep hitting EDGE instead of HSPA.

she's paying for HSPA but getting EDGE service. shouldn't they charge lower whereby the area is majority on EDGE?

oh btw, i'd definitely screw the DiGi dealer if i see him/her. why on earth selling DiGi broadband if the service 90% EDGE at my area?

the dealer said GOT COVERAGE!

nvm, not me paying for it. my sis is smile.gif

also, she asked 'bout Celcom. better still, the dealer asnwer: NO COVERAGE! lol!

i'm not staying in ulu-ulu place, it's a town! these ppl can't determine coverage availability!

yes, pay as you use/go. but rate is 1sen/KB!

btw, where did u get pay-as-u-use info for U Mobile's broadband?

as far as i know, it's RM68/month with FUP:5GB.

@yaya1899, ohhhh ... that means when u r using postpaid/prepaid, u can access internet at pay-as-u-use rate (1sen/KB).

The Surf with U plan is a separate *postpaid broadband only. they will give you a new sim just for broadband. not for handphone usage because it doesn't have voice/sms features.

*postpaid = billing cycle = u will get billed every month for RM68 smile.gif
