direct ftp is like using filezille or flashfxp.

based on ur testings, i guess U Mobile starts to throttle FTP? it could be external factor outside of UM's network.

i dont know smile.gif just guessing.

hahaha maybe maybe.

of course streamyx is the worst in throttling. I guess the reason is that their service is unlimited without any specific FUP/x-GB capping.

call their Customer Service. ask them if Bangi network has any issues.

i was in IT Dept (HOD was Tamisarazu or Tami-san; i heard he already retired) hhehe ... this dept is handling ESS. But i was more attached to system support (was doing the Y2K qualification and testing throughout the factory!)...(PIC was Sam or Shamsul; donno if he's still there or not)

nice memory there.

but it's typical japanese factory with mostly chinese ppl. haha! berlagak lah skit mereka tu!

compared to Sony EMCS, sony's ppl is friendlier. thumbup.gif

how about Maxis/Celcom/Digi users? any issues? or is it limited to UM only?

my morning session with RS is ok (topped out at 3.6mbps)

but at night, RS keeps disconnecting.
