<<A user review after 1/2 year usage>>

PLEASE YOU GUYS, DON'T EVEN MENTION ABOUT Kbps; dun lying ... the service is the worse broadband I've tried ... overally worse than dialup (that's the bottom line)!!!

THOSE PPL HERE says they can download movies using UMOBILE, please ... you can't even access internet probably ... dun mention about downloading!!!

AND one last fact, Umobile ONLY run on HSDPA ... so even with full 3G coverage in places like JB ... you can't use it, I believe same case in Ipoh ... USELESS piece of SHIT ... thinking of throwing it away!!!

I think those ppl who say NICE thing about Umobile here is those reseller, post a lot of scam post .. to cover up those REAL user review.

Don't ever think about applying it, let it die off ...

UMobile coverage klang valley mostly on data plane but for voice call should be no problem as it is piggyback on Celcom tower.

u right on HSDPA thingy as UMobile can ONLY run but once it is on 3G...then it die like shitty SiowCom..

i am not reseller here....but i can tell u this,Celcom is as worse as UMobile even if their coverage is almost the whole malaysia.

This is some of my review..

I'm using HuaWei e160g .. the small lighter stick..
Near kepong and petaling street area, connection is about 90-95% most of the time..
Speed wise.. from rapid... depends on time.. but usually weekend morning is faster.

Speed is around 40KB/s to 170KB/s. It disconnect after a while but i make it reconnect, so not a big deal.. but if you are downloading big files, make sure u have download manager so that it can continue downloading when the 3g reconnect...

So my advise is.. try first .. if don't like .. cut it... don't get the contract one...

just ignore those comments which u don't feel it right...
ppl can be saying anything (without understanding the situation)...
take proton for example, lots of ppl are complaining about it but how many of us are still using it here? i bet it will be a lot, right?
moral of the story, just try the service by urself and u be the judge...
if u like it, then go ahead... if u don't, then terminate it...
what's the fuss here? biggrin.gif

Added on November 17, 2008, 11:32 pmfor those whom are staying near puchong area, the coverage is quite decent here... can sometimes get 100-200KB/s...
anyhow, the best coverage is *always* will be near the KL town areas...

wider = extension to Penang, Johor? or
wider = better penetration within Klang Valley?
