I wonder if Cheras is entirely covered in it's coverage? Because I see that Cheras is in the coverage map....if it is not entirely covered.....in which area of Cheras is covered in it's service(U-Mobile)......

The service looks good to me but i'm still sceptical of it's service.......because this service sounds new to me...and a little expensive though.....RM78/month.....don't know how good it is and how reliable is their service....is it on best effort basis or what.......  

I juz asked this due to reasons of wanting a wireless internet service for a college student like me and the rest of the forumers who might be college or Uni students as well...  

Better option is to wait for Digi to get everything in place, than we should expect price war

u mobile use celcom 2G for calls ONLY 3G they build their own. coverage like crap only la... I am in damansara perdana... ZERO BAR.... I used in KL area about 3 bar but speeds also slow. 1.8M-3.6Mbps my ass!!!! wasted my time going all the way to berjaya times square... 1 time to purchase... 2nd time to return... no sign of my refund yet... I guess cheap service, u get cheap lousy coverage... dun bother signing up guys...

for me umobile better than digi although when come at night, line would be slower...
but when go morning till evening.. marvelous...
speed very fast.. my average around 1.5Mbps....
and umbile good for downloading..    (u need to use rapidshare premium to maximize the speed)
my record so far... 1.4GB take 4 hours to finish... 
and my fastest download speed recorded.... 323kB/s... (dunno its true but i think thats very fast)

hi lyt forumers, recently i apply for u-mobile data only plan but when i insert the sim card into the mobilephone,which is a Nokia 6680 (3g) it display "sim card registration failed". Currently i am using a Nokia 6680 3g mobilephone as a modem for Celcom D68 data only plan which is working well, so i am confused as to why one telco provider wireless broadband is working whereas the other one isn't. The staff at the Berjaya Time Square u-mobile booth was not helpful at all, each tell a different story, even called their service center and she said their "data only package"can only be use with hsdpa phones, could anyone confirm on this.... Please can anyone confirm whether the Nokia 6220c (with 3g,hsdpa) mobilephone can be use as a modem for u-mobile "data only package" plan (currently for RM58.00 until end Dec. 2008) or is this "data only package" to be use strictly on hsdpa modem, are they no other options besides using hsdpa modems?  Any help would greatly appreciated...Thank You  Cheers!!

tonight the speed is quite fast but DC very often. When trying to reconnect I get error 619 - have to redial a few times before finally getting connected - anyone else experiencing this...

3 days..still "simcard registration fail" damn!!..call CS and they tell me cant do anything if subscribe from phone counter..and tell me just wait...
