me having the same problem

my avg speed 2Mb here at old klang road. maximum speed is 2.6Mb but always dc every 1 -2 mins

Hi all i'm searching for some info on u-mobile. Is it true that the coverage is only within Klang Valley? Because i'm studying in JB now and wanna look for alternatives to online

Yes, its broadband service is only available in Klang Valley at the moment. smile.gif
Looks like you have to find for other alternative such as Celcom or Streamyx. smile.gif

hmm.gif does the umobile signal bar indicator effect the speed performance?

sometime my place one bar, speedtest abt 1200kbps...sometime 3 bar but only 8xx kbps

how about u guys?

No it doesn't. I get HSDPA full bars all the time but night surfing is pretty slow.

There is 3 different signal bar in my room in different position sweat.gif sweat.gif
3 Bar (400-1100kbps), 4 Bar (1200-1600kbps), 5 Bar (1700-2500kbps)
But at nite...slow no matter how many signal bar i get
And now i have to put my desk near the window in order to get the full signal laugh.gif

I plan to get U mobile broadband also, but afraid the upload speed. Ur download speed is 14Mbs but upload speed is very slow.

Is it the line always disconnected? How the U mobile service actually?
