QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Apr 23 2008, 12:20 AM) I didn't conduct that two speed tests at once, I did iZZi first and followed by speedtest.net, which was only 3 minutes difference. As can see from the images.Impossible 3 minutes have so big difference right? |

QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Oct 4 2008, 01:30 AM) Hi all i'm searching for some info on u-mobile. Is it true that the coverage is only within Klang Valley? Because i'm studying in JB now and wanna look for alternatives to online Yes, its broadband service is only available in Klang Valley at the moment. Looks like you have to find for other alternative such as Celcom or Streamyx. |

QUOTE(digilife @ Apr 19 2009, 06:54 PM) [attachmentid=915499] I think I used to have "PC" on my Celcom broadband. Letter "P" means the device is supporting packet-switch (P) or data services, while letter "C" means supporting circuit switch © services. i noticed tat my dialer only hav the letter P , whereas yours is PC my sim is a data only which i subscribed abt 3 mths ago, is your a sim also a data only? and btw wat theme tat you used on your desktop, it is very informative like having the data statistic of the net and pc figures care to share? thanks I'm also getting it on my DiGi EDGE. ![]() |

QUOTE(digilife @ Apr 24 2009, 02:12 AM) Well, I can be seen at most of the active threads on this section. It depends but I do most of my surfing at nights and I'm acknowledged by the users' experience that it sucks at nights. So far my DiGi EDGE still serves me well and I can still use this rate until next year's August. I think by then, other providers should have rolled out their attractive plans. |

QUOTE(digilife @ Apr 24 2009, 02:38 AM) but if your impending KL residency hav good U's coverage, will u giv it a try @ rm68/mth wif a speed of over 1.3Mbps? I cannot deny the fact that the rate is very attractive for the speed that I'll be getting.remember your leaching activities will be VERY much enhanced However, if I cannot surf the Internet at night, I will be freaking annoyed. Imagine, after a tiring day at office from 8.30 a.m.-5.30 p.m., I am so excited to login to LYN or Facebook for my daily Internet dose but due to the users congestion issue, it has totally stopped for doing so. Anyway, my Streamyx account in hometown will be terminated by June because nobody will be there to use it. Of course, U- Mobile will be in my top list when I reside in Klang Valley. I'll be residing at areas somewhere in PJ, are these areas covered by U-Mobile HSDPA? |

QUOTE(digilife @ Apr 24 2009, 02:55 AM) most probably yes Yeah true. I still need to maintain my DiGi EDGE SIM card to be used when back to good old PD. u still nid 2 sim when u are in KL one is for during peak hour ( digi's EDGE ) one is for downloading wif blazing speed ( UM ) all in its much cheaper of maintaining a single D98 fr SIAL Yeah, I will take this advice into serious consideration. I heard the only hassle of this U-Mobile registration is I need to go all the way to BTS to register? This post has been edited by fruitie: Apr 24 2009, 02:58 AM |

QUOTE(mochachoke @ May 2 2009, 05:25 PM) oh i see but....after i survey all the umobile user...they said umobile have constant speed and no sudden disconnection... The users here can tell you more than that. They can only surf at those weird hours or afternoon and 8.00 p.m.-1.00 a.m. is a total torture. |

I manually searched the networks from my modem this afternoon and discovered this:
![]() Discovered this in my hometown, Port Dickson (30km from Seremban). Does it mean that my house is with U-Mobile 3G coverage? I would like to buy a normal prepaid SIM pack to try the signal first, can I do that with just a prepaid SIM? |
