as for the latest UB68 package, if u wanna terminate it , lets say tat your billing date is  1st of the mth.........if u terminate it today (9th), UM wont calculate your usage under pro-rated, they will bill u the whole mth even u terminated it on the 3rd or 13th or any other date, meaning once they generate the bill cycle, u hav to pay the whole mth..............

i went to UM on the 6th and wanted to terminate and the CS advice me to do so at the 29th or 30th ( or else i lose more )

why u want to terminate? UM broadband not good?

i need confirmation. the U68 broadband package doesnt have any limited quota is it? coz i read package brochure, it said unlimited. but my friend here said that now UM already implement a download quota of 15gb per month? is it true?

unlimited = no extra charges after quota

other plans (besides u68): after quota will b charged RM0.01/KB (PAYU or Pay As You Use rate) - but capped at a maximum of RM176 (safety reason if you are unaware you have crossed the quota)

read the T&Cs:

does U Mobile specifically throttles any source of download or everything will be slowed to EDGE??
it's weird I'm getting full speed from a random download.com download but then downloading from ftp is slow to a crawl.. yawn.gif

running speedtest, I'm getting the normal 2.1-2.3 range
this is very weird rclxub.gif
