not for me. im having a blast while in trial period - finished up my 6gb quota within 2 days. speed is so awesome. but after got capped, i cant stand with capped speed, so decide to return and choose prepaid broadband. i hate bill, and monthly payment tongue.gif

so here am i now, using UM prepaid with unlocked e1762. never been better biggrin.gif

about maxis 3g internet, did u mean unlimited packages one? i used to subscribe weekly prepaid, and the speed is awesome too. more or less with maxis broadband.

u better call again. it looks like throttled speed ... but it is already few days ago after u renewed, unthrottled speed should be restored
*
I already call the cs, then they call me back 2 times already, but the speed still the same..
According to their statement, my speed already has been reset back to normal speed...
Their technical team still working on it..
Hope to get the normal speed back soon...
The surfing still ok, just the downloading....

and btw, UM prepaid charge is same with the postpaid, rm68 monthly smile.gif

Do not apply Umobile, it's a scam. Formerly Mitv anyone??? a bankrupt company ...

damn unstable data service, and lousy support, and many hidden rules, and lousy billing system.
Totally waste of money, trust me you will regret.

After I terminated they still bill me ... lousy system.
Umobile is not up to the standard of a qualifiying telco.

Well I'm not surprise, Berjaya style ... scamming for money is their best tactic.

Has U Mobile resolve your complaint? Which location not stable? When is comment based on, last year, last 2 years?

as for the latest UB68 package, if u wanna terminate it , lets say tat your billing date is 1st of the mth.........if u terminate it today (9th), UM wont calculate your usage under pro-rated, they will bill u the whole mth even u terminated it on the 3rd or 13th or any other date, meaning once they generate the bill cycle, u hav to pay the whole mth..............

i went to UM on the 6th and wanted to terminate and the CS advice me to do so at the 29th or 30th ( or else i lose more )

yup, no pro-rate if u terminate. i think this is to avoid fraud (e.g. u use 15GB in 9 days, then terminate immediately. once umobile prorate, u only need to pay ~RM20)

FAQ#13: http://www.u.com.my/policies-terms-and-con...adband-postpaid

Added on June 9, 2010, 10:17 amthe prorate is more critical to quota-based plans (ub6,ub10,ub20,ub48) . i think umobile applies the same principle on all plans.
