well, umobile is in the news again. hopefully this will allow umobile to bring more exotic/sought-after phones to Malaysia (from Singapore)... (instead of relying on Celcom/Maxis)

better go to their service ctr at times square to settle. at least if they can't help, they can call the office upstairs for clarifications

yes, the OLD broadband package has many terms n conditions (esp. the contract).

however, most of us are now subscribing the NEW broadband packages, which are more flexible and transparent. no contract, no hidden charges. everything spelt out in their FAQ, T&Cs, FUP, etc. etc.


**i guess this warrant a new thread to avoid users reading the OLD and NEW posts!**

mantap definitely. umobile improved very very much.

went to Nottingham University but no 3G signal/coverage (expected).

furthest 3G coverage in Kajang/Semenyih is Billion Shopping Centre at Taman Teknologi.

correct, all ISPs implement a certain kind of FUP.

why bother with the bill?

if you're on UB68 plan (RM68/mth), ur broadband subscription will nvr go above RM68 (that's "unlimited")

it's already mentioned many many times that the RM199 free modem promo is now in JB.
