i agree with omnipotent's comments.
and wanna add a bit..

if u don't mind on doing illegal mods, HID is the way to go, but u will surely get surat saman from JPJ.
also, during heavy rain or fog, HID is useless.
i have heard that changing the headlmap wiring (more like upgrading it) will make it brighter.
or u can try adding headlamp booster. this will brighten your headlamp but your bulb's lifespan will be reduced to half.

as for absorber, are u maintaining the comfort setup or would like to change to a sportier setup?

what i mean by sportier setup is changing to adjustable suspension which has harder spring and absorber.
and u can lower ur car as u please.
and with sportier setup, u may take corners with more speed and confidence.
my car is stock also, on straights, i can't catch my frens but on the corners i can close the gap.. icon_idea.gif (haha.. wishful thinking only..)

vibrating brakes indicate that the disc is bengkok.
try skimming or maybe change to twinpot brakes from galant for more braking power.

ya, disc is bengkok, my previous stock brake disc also bengkok, so i skimmed it but it came back after 10,000kms also...that's why i changed to Bosch (thinking it will be better quality) but still same problem...

disc bengkok is common la, i think. i also skimmed my previous disc many times.
after change to mitsubishi single pot disc also have to skim.
now change to twinpot, no problem for now...

twinpot brake will cost u around rm500 to rm600 for the brake set (front only, caliper + disc) without labour.
look for front set only also ok. i change front and rear.
if install front set from galant or eterna, it's plug and play, ABS not affected cos u put the caliper + disc to your original knuckle.
some disc have 4 holes, but if it's 5 holes, u can ask the workshop to drill 4 holes to your disc.
but find reliable workshop to drill it. have to do exact measurements.

have u done the intercooler piping?
2.5" exhaust piping may cost : rm300 piping, rm150 centre bullet.
for muffler, better look for japan JASMA approved s-flow muffler.
such as Tanabe Hyper Medallion, Tanabe G-Power Medallion, Fujitsubo Giken, etc..
look for 2nd hand la. price around rm300-450.

u can try search for brembo max disc.
or other disc brands such as brembo (normal), improve, odaka, maxtech, lemburg, etc
but i donno the condition la coz u said that u change to bosch also prob arises after 10K km.

it's not about the brakes not functioning well.
it's becoz the disc warps after 10K km and after hard braking during hi-speed.

do checks basically like any other used car.
ask for test drive. then drive it kaw kaw.
v6 engine is sturdy but the auto gb is weak.
so pick up kaw kaw and feel if there's any jerking or late gear change.

listen for any weird engine noise, weird noise during cornering, braking, etc.
check power window and other electronics etc..

what's ur budget? better get v6 2005 and above. got ATF cooler already.
mileage average is about 25K km per year, so if May 2005 car, mileage now will be around 125K km.

falken 912, yokohama c-drive, continental comfortcontact, michelin premacy, goodyear excellence.
i have tried 912 and c-drive, both really nice.

performance wise;
goodyear f1 assymmetric, michelin pilotsport3, continental sportcontact3, falken 452, yoko s-drive, yoko advan neova, federal 595 evo, dunlop dz101, bridgestone adrenalin, pirelli zero.
i have tried dz101, s-drive and 595 evo.
all 3 really nice but 595evo gets my vote for excellent overall performance and cheap too (compared to those other tyres mentioned above)

i think it' either the sensor dirty/rosak or the abs pump rosak.
my abs light also menyala (rear right sensor rosak)

i just leave it like that.
sometimes my abs works but sometimes it doesn't.
if the sensor prob, u can buy it at arund rm250-300.
if the abs pump, u can search it in mudah.my

before this, i always use Proton ATF SP3. i have never change brand.
then, a fren recommend to use Mitsubishi Diaqueen.
so, i change la, to see if it's better than Proton SP3.

at that time, my gb was only sometimes jerking and only a little bit.
after changing to diaqueen, the jerking gets worse and sometimes my gb stuck at 3rd gear (TCU engage the "crawl-home mode")
after that, i overhaul the gb la...

mivec-md manual, piping 2.5", of coz la use straight flow muffler. baru la power...
and depending on straight flow muffler, sometimes the growl is too loud. but i like. thumbup.gif
if u don't like it too loud, u can add centre bullet in the piping to reduce the sound.

so, no power altogether?
try switching light? ON or not?
if can ON lights, maybe ur starter has problem.
battery old or new?
if new, maybe wiring prob.

anyway, it already happen..
now i use Pennzoil synthetic ATF, cheaper and quality is good if not better than Proton SP3 and Mitsu Diaqueen.
and i buy it from factory, so no ciplak..
