have to look at the springrate and also ur preference.

my adjustables springrate front 8kg/mm rear 4kg/mm.
i feel slight harshness but good compromise between ride and handling.

used to own HKS Hyper-D with 12kg/mm, 8kg/mm
very hard but cornering superb!

anyway, each person different feel.
but i think 8kg, 4kg is a good compromise..

Wah that cheap ah, that day i send my mum's car to change Toyota ATF, they charged me RM 145 while Mitsubishi Diaqueen was RM 150. Is that price overboard ah ? But that's inclusive of installation la.
I need to change my ATF and also the filter soon. Any good tips on brand and costing ah ? Normally the foreman charge how much for workmanship ah?
*
Toyta ATF is about rm70-80 per 4L can.
Mitsu Diaqueen ATF is about rm100 per 4L can.

if u r only draining the ATF and pour in new one, i think that's overcharge..
if u change the gb filter and gasket as well, it's murah..

for filter, the price depends la.
i once bought a local filter rm30, then rm50.

i change ATF every 15K-20K km max.
change ATF + filter + gasket every 30K-40K km max.

The hatch is slightly lower in power but higher torque compared to the PV6, right?

But... when I googled around for 'peugeot Turbo', found this site...
http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/car-reviews/car-a...75-1005931.html
and  got this info:
CAR: Peugeot 308 Turbo GT  175bhp!  (not 140bhp)
PERFORMANCE: 0-60mph 8s;  Max Speed 140mph (225km/hr)
*
that is 308 GT.
in malaysia, only have 308 VTi (120hp) and 308 turbo (140hp)
http://www.peugeot.com.my/images/308/308.pdf

but i think naza do bring in the 308 GT.
but GT 2-door version, 308 vti and 308 turbo are 4-door.

WRONG! After reading specs, I found out Peugeot 308 is larger and heavier than proton perdana.

Weight
Perdana=1336kg
Peugeot 308 Turbo=1430kg
Peugeot 308 VTi=1387kg

Dimensions:
Perdana: 1730W x 1400H x 4610L
Peugeot 308: 1815W x 1498H x 4274L
[peugeot only shorter than Perdana because it has no boot, other dimensions much larger]
*
wow.
really more wider than perdana?
taller and shorter, we can see la. but wider?
more stable la like that..

Does it need any custom bracket to mount?..5 knuckler is it?
*
if from eterna or galant, it is plug and play. u just need the caliper and disc. no need hub and knuckle.
there are 4 lugs and 5 lugs hubs (depends from which model of eterna or galant u get).

u using 4 lug rite?
if u get 4 lugs, plug and play the disc.
if u get 5 lugs, just send it to engineering shop and tebuk the disc brake.

ABS also functioning..

What's the difference of using 2 pot disc brake
*

I'm thinking of taking over my parent's old Perdana V6. It's a 2000 model, very low mileage (~100k km) and no problems with gearbox or anything else so far.

What sort of maintenance should I be looking into? ATF/gearbox obviously, timing belt check, maybe install an ATF cooler? This will be my second car so mostly short trips, stop and go city driving and at most my 60km daily commute.
*
u can scrool back/read from page 1 for more info.
penat mau taip all back... tongue.gif

no problem
and to answer ur PM about the ABS, since u dont change the knuckle, every is in palce as normal.
u just change the disc and caliper.
u will not even touch the ABS sensor... icon_rolleyes.gif

i think wat he mean is how strong is perdana chassis. i wonder how strong also.  flex.gif
*
i think perdana chassis is just nice for an executive hiway cruiser, not as a mountain racer la..
they do have to bend and flex, if not, patah la chassis..
as for the measurements for stiffness and rigidity, just search for it lah.. sweat.gif

foglight H3, headlight H4

for better vision, brightness:
- HID - but illegal in malaysia.
- go for headlamp booster - relay kit + better bulb. but with relay kit, the lifetime of your bulb will be lesser than normal.
