I'm using the red one. Quite bright as i can see my red light while driving. I also add on the brake reflector on my bumper to add extra safety.

QUOTE(marsha1l @ Aug 1 2013, 08:34 AM) OEM oil coolers are made for that purpose and meets the required size, cooling and pressure for it to function flawlessly. My OEM oil cooler is salvaged from Pajero and it's not very big in size, but works great and doesn't block my radiators from getting sufficient cooling. I'm still using my OEM gearbox from the day it left the showroom, still shifts smoothly and gears engage without hesitation everytime. Mine is a pre-facelift 2002 V6 model. |

My gearbox issue started with that symptom. Some say it is due to the sensor. I am not really sure.QUOTE(Omnipotent @ Aug 5 2013, 11:20 AM) OEM oil coolers are made for that purpose and meets the required size, cooling and pressure for it to function flawlessly. Same model but mine is 2000. Anyway, first time using atf cooler despite before this had change gearbox 2 time. Also what cause the cracking/poping sound everytime i turn left and only happen during left turn. CV joint perhaps? This post has been edited by marsha1l: Aug 7 2013, 09:18 AM |

I dont know where to ask, so i just ask here. sorry.
my perdana abs light is constantly on and my brakes is totally out(feels like brake pump is leaking). i had to use handbrake, drive really slow or rapidly pump brake. my front brake disc is shiny while my rear brake is rusty(seems to me rear brake doesnt work). i sent to 2 workshop to fix the brake. none of them has. they only make it worse. so, where do you guys repair your brakes? any recommendation, experience? while googling i found these 2 links. seems like they are the same. http://www.mudah.my/Perkhidmatan+reset+sis...v6-12309823.htm http://forum.autoworld.com.my/index.php?showtopic=53447 are they trustworthy? anyone experience dealing with them? thanks. |

Been using this for 9 years with gb change on last year. Now engine seem like going with problem and need to do major overhaul. Want to keep this as family car so trying to avoid engine transplant. Any workshop recommendations around cyberjaya, nilai or klang? |

QUOTE(ThunderGod_Cid @ Jul 6 2013, 12:18 PM) Thanks for your reply bro. W5M312 will work fine except for the extra kilos la. but i dont think it will make much difference. as long as the foreman knows how to throw away all the 4wd items and weld the differential, then no problem..I got myself a F5M312, costed 3.9k with installation by a friend. It lasted only for three days before I could engage into all gears without clutch in. They replaced the tranny FOC under warranty but this time I see that it's a W5M312 and I'm suspecting this is a 4wd locked. I did not pay for this. I paid for a 2wd gearbox which is supposedly lighter. I have yet to see him on this matter. Btw, which of these has the longest ratio? i think the longest/tallest ratio should be 222. 312 is a short ratio gbox. |

QUOTE(Freedom1104 @ Jul 17 2013, 01:26 PM) HI all sifus here. need some help here. thats normal.Mine is a 6a10 v6 wira. the problem is i will be always getting a TAK TAK TAK TAK noise when initially started the car and the noise only will gone after the engine has warmed enough. any solution to this ? the hydaulic tappet in 6A engines are like that. when u start, the oil needs some time to warm up and get back up to the tappets if u parked overnight. use mineral engine oil and the noise will be slower.. |
