Heard that Penang Gogo is not bad....
But quite a distance from town...

yes is far from town.. if u have transport then is ok.

normal landed house homestay is not in town area.. becoz no land to build landed house.

not worth it even if you have a car - too much jam and traveling time.

Preferably near Tg Bungah or Ferringhi side with a budget of RM800 (RM100 per pax).

Good morning. I will be at Penang at this Christmas day, May I know that any selection for the penang hotel or any nice food can be suggested here??
Do you think the hotel rooms searched in web if written for two person, is it can fit 3 or 4 person without add new bed?

yeah. 2 weeks ago i stayed at campbell times, campbell st. booked 4-person room but stayed 6 persons. they charged extra RM30 for 1 person as the 6th person consider free as child under 12. quite nice location, close to mall & chowrasta.

i need some advise here. i was browsing in agoda and saw this Luxfort 118 and 118 Residence. Situated and Island Plaza. Is this two accomodation the same? or different? I can get Luxfort 118 info in agoda and tripadvisor but no info on the 118 Residence.

anyone stay in evergreen laurel before?

i am planning to go to penang end of this month and this is my first time so if anyone can give me some information

i've loked up one hotel near ferringgi beach EQ ferringgi hotel and its seams reasonabally priced
can anyone tell me if they've been there ?
its a walk to the beach and some mall and some other stuff
i want to do some water sports like para sailing and stuff
will they be available there?
what else can i do there near by ?

yes, it was near to the beach and many water activities is there...

however Batu Ferringgi is far from town, you might need about minutes to drive town...

yes i already did its EQ Ferringghi hotel i just confirmed my hotel booking with them on their online website as i ran into a big hassle with air asia :/ looking for flights now

Batu Ferringgi area isn't known for malls, i think the nearest proper mall would be Straits Quay/Island Plaza.
There's a night market in Batu Ferringgi town, just infront of Hard Rock hotel.
As for beaches, you can have those beach side activities you mention, just make sure you ask everything properly in order not to be con by the beach boys who operate the activities.

You can visit the butterfly farm, Penang's National Park & ESCAPE Penang if you feel more adventurous.

Hi all, any suggestions for a clean and nice public beach? I only know batu ferringhi, but its condition and crowd is always a turndown...this time due to staying at a no beach apartment...pls share thanks!
