Heya guys..planning to go to Penang somewhere in 2015..hopefully the first quarter after CNY

Planning for a 3D2N stay..any beach budget hotels to recommend?

Preferably around 100~200 per night..other suggestions are welcomed

Plan to be there on a Thursday and return to KL on a Saturday

If can increase the budget to RM 250 can go Four Points Sheraton already.

Noted..what about the lower end of the range? 100 or below?

Vistana is in bayan lepas area. Unless u have own transport not recommend u to stayif u waana visit town arra

staying at backpacker dorm
1st and 2nd night staying at peace hostel that cost 28 bucks per night
3rd night staying at red inn cabana rm30 for a room with 4 beds
sometimes they do have promotion where rm87 for 1 night for a room with a queen size bed + single bed

Penang uses parking coupon now. If I go to the Thai and Siamese temples in Lrg Burmah on a Saturday after 1pm, need parking fee ? What about Kek Lok Si ?

siamese temple, u can go park inside.. not sure hw much gonna pay or mayb free.. kek lok si, u can go till up there and pay RM3 for parking only..

plan to go to georgetown after finish my meeting on sunday morning.

so i will just park my car at nearby area in georgetown while checking-in to the hostel.
