1. Can anyone recommend hotel that is around the capital city?
Somemore budget around rm60-150?
Preferably 3-4 star as we just a student?

2. Can someone suggest places that we can visit during the 3 day 2 night trip?

3. Can someone suggest us that what kind of transportation available because we are traveling Penang by ourself?

No have you budget at 3-4 star. At your budget mostly 1-2 Star in the Georgetown.

5 ppl difficult to travel in taxi unless really small size. Any budget for car rental ...any valid license to drive? Public transport ok is you dun mind waiting and long duration of travel.

What are you/your ppl interest? Halal or not?

StarCandy / (Dackson) Car rental is about RM140 per day inclusive of insurance. If have garmin GPS then very easy.
What time you arrived in Penang? by Bus or flight?
You check-in 1st or wat? If early after check in you do the heritage walk then lunch - Nasi kandar there?

Wat you wan to shop in Penang? Biscuit, belacan or local preserved nutmeg? laugh.gif

Wat time must you leave Penang?

laugh.gif I have resided in Penang, Langkawi, Ipoh, C.Highlands, Kuantan and now KL, the worst kind of drivers and traffic conditions is still KL. If you can drive in KL, you can drive in anywhere in Malaysia except maybe 'kena' cursed elsewhere. icon_rolleyes.gif

most of penang drivers are slow in everything...they take their time to switch lanes, wait 3 seconds after the light turns green before they start to move, when they turn they dont put signal, cruising at 40kmph on a highway...the list continues doh.gif

At least they are predictable. Here in KL, they want to cut Q, they want to do it in front of you, never at your back even when my car is forward. They also want to do it at the last moment and not allowing them to do it is wrong to them! rclxub.gif They want to drive fast but at times in the middle lane and worst some drives slow at the overtaking lane. The main function of the 'hi-beam' is for overtaking and HID lights is for 'really want to overtake'.

In my former residence, they buy 4X4 cabs for functionality. They are used to ferry farm produce and in coastal villages for marine products. Here in KL is to bully others. Their 4X4s are even shinier and cleaner than my Kancil. Like they say," Little man drives big cars." Intimidation is also one of the purpose of MPVs. Many more are so scared of losing their way they stick barely one feet from your bumper. laugh.gif Aiyah! so many more other bad habits here in KL.
