If I go for holidays, I rather go slow. like they say, smell the roses. No need to rush here and there, trying to cover everything in one trip. Afterall Penang is only a few hours from anywhere in Malaysia. You can always go for seconds and third time. There is a fun side in taking bus around and you will see the real Penang. Then again nowadays, most want to try everything on the 3 days they spent on the island. Some residents have stayed on the island their whole life has not even tried all!

If you have the time or a relax kind of person, by all means. Use the public transportation. Just check around, the bus reaches most destination.

very easy only as all the buses connects to the city center (KOMTAR and Weld Quay - Interchange Station) with only a few exceptional line the round the island. If you don't know how to go anywhere or want to check the ETA of the bus, you can always call their HOTLINE 04-2381313, they have real-time location system. =)

Think it is called Leisure Cove apartment. Ok but only if have own transport cos it is between town and Batu Ferringhi beach.
