I would like to ask some questions about hand carry baggage on AirAsia.

I know that AirAsia only permit one hand-carry baggage per passenger per flight. Is laptop bag with laptop inside considered 1 hand-carry baggage? Can a passenger bring one laptop bag (with laptop inside) + another hand-carry baggage?

QUOTE(r3d2 @ Aug 6 2009, 11:25 AM)
I think they allow one laptop bag and one carry baggage, but it cannot be too heavy

QUOTE(humanfly @ Aug 6 2009, 11:54 AM)
the weight limit is 5KG.. but i carried more than that and they did not check..but is for local flights larr... but i am not sure bout international as never flew international with AA before.

I did also carry 3 bags before, laptop bag, one hand carry bag and another bag... no problem...

seen ppl carrying plastic bag and a few bags before... they look like boarding a bus...

Does anyone hand carry alto saxophone to airasia (Kuala Lumpur) aircraft cabin (over head compartment)? Does airasia allow to hand carry? I really need to know. Thanks a lot!
*
Actually is one piece of hand carry only, the limit is 7KG, but if your stuffs not too much, normally they will close one eye and let you enter.
They always have the right to ask you not to bring not more than one piece of hand carry.

QUOTE

How many pieces of hand carry luggage can I carry on board the flight?

Answer :
All guests (except infants) are allowed only one (1) piece of hand carry luggage on board provided that it does not exceed the dimensions of 56cm X 36cm X 23cm and does not weigh more than 7kg. Such baggage must fit under the seat in front of you or in an enclosed storage compartment in the cabin. Items determined by us to be of excessive weight or size or of an offensive nature will not be permitted on board.

Erm.. i got some very shame question wanna ask.. I did not book any air ticket before and i also don't have such experiences. So when i wanna book the air ticket, they ask for my full name. Example my full name is cyrielle tan chee yen.
The Chee yen should be First name and Cyrielle Tan should be last name, wasn't? but when it came to the next page. it becomes Chee yen , cyrielle tan
Is it okay? but i heard even minor mistake will make us trouble for changing... Or how should i put the name? and i don't have a passport =)
and another example without english name is yeo kok huei, which 1 should i put first or last name???
thankss for anyone who help me.. urgently need ur help =)

maybe the Southern Hemisphere does things differently, but First Name = Given Name; Last Name = Surname.

Anyone have experience with Air Asia GoInsure's flight cancellation insurance? You can get your flight tickets refunded if you cancel a flight due to sickness/injury (or even if your car is damaged!). The T&C are standard insurance legal speak but I'm wondering what people's real world experience is.

Info at section 15c
