Same here. The way my best guy friend holds his girlfriend to him like she's gonna run away ... if my boyfriend ever did that, I'd go crazy. He's English ed, but he's a little sticky ... so my purpose in being around is to slap him when he gets too up in the clouds.

I see no reason why I should study Chinese eds. I like them, I have a bunch of Chinese ed friends and I get along great with them ... but so far, I have seen no exceptions to my stereotype that they are jealous, clingy, possessive, controlling, insecure (as hell) ...

why not ask her where she usually resides before suggesting this?

Because you dont see the bigger picture if u do u will understand. Every action always leads to another action. Its all a chain reaction. When you concentrate on something you will always gain more knowledge compare to others they dont bother.

Have you wonder it gives you a better picture ? like why they act like that? Why they do it? How to change 1? How to avoid someone like that? How to actually know if a person is like that? It tells you so many things but being naive it immediately block your brain. Then all your life you only have that small tiny picture. Then it becomes a habit after it becomes a habit this idea you are having now you will bring till you are old then past it to your children goes on.

WHY do you even attend seminars on these things? These aren't humongous life changing situations.

Pfft, I wouldn't allow my boyfriend to hold me like that - like I said it would drive me crazy. But why would I stay and try to change him as if a leopard can change his spots? I'd rather change the leopard than its spots.

don't say things are impossible, just say that we'll find a way...that's it...=)

Seminars means its about many things businesses, self motivation , problem solving because the more seminar i attend the bigger the picture i see then people without it at all.

The bigger picture is example your BF he only knows what he knows but by helping him realising what he missing or dont understand it helps him to change. Then when he realise it he can help others to change.

Like i said its another chain reaction. IF everyone thinks like you then all also become like you. So negative.

Thats why they said the most important of children age is between 1-8 its the most crucial time of the children education how u educate them they will make it a habit and adept to it when they grow up.

I'm not saying it's impossible ... but the reason why people date around is because they're looking for someone who has the characteristics that they like and don't have to change much to accommodate... not because they're looking for someone they can tolerate till death do they part.

you do know that dosent work IRL, do you? changing someone's mindset is almost impossible until they lose what they have.

So thats why most people fail they only look for 1 type of group they let the other group dies.
Why not make all the group unites and head for 1 direction.

I never said I wouldn't consider chinese eds anymore ... but they're not my preference. Just like how some people on my other forums just don't find non-white people attractive. It's a matter of preference: if you prefer to try to change the chinese ed mindset, I wish you the best of luck - you are definitely going to need it.

now try to make some chinese ed fella to fall for you instead of you falling over him, and you might get him to change, probably...haha

It's a mindset, Wanderer, do you know how hard it is to break a mindset? I've tried ... and it was to break my OWN mindset ... and it's tough as hell. So what makes you think that breaking ANOTHER's mindset is easier to break than your own?

My Chinese ed ex and I mutually fell for each other ... it wasn't one-sided. Neither asked the other out.

this what usually happen when u try to educate people. Sorry my fault i am young. Dont need to wish me good luck because i already did manage to change a few. Like i said its your life you choose what to believe what you dont. I dont benefit anything even if u listen.

Why not you tell me what is easy in life? Nothing is easy ! To tell you the truth i was a chinese ed all my life ppl around me are so (HELL) negative! I tell you honestly how i change because i met 1 guy that changes my entire life i see everything from a different angle.

Example most of things u share are negative. You channel negative energy so people around you will be negative?
Why not try to look at the positive side?

GOOD OR BAD
HAPPY AND SAD

everything in life is balance but its just what you choose to see.

Maybe you've found the exceptions to the stereotype that I haven't found yet.

just let me add you something in my psychology classes

mindset is also known as schema

you know, when you see a person, either in race, gender, etc, you already have a mindset of them

you tend to generalize these people in whatever category people fit them to you, and these people who feed these information to you are your parents, teachers, friends, media, and so on

if you meet someone who is totally out from this schema, you tend to remember them better, but you just are most likely to categorize them as they are individually special, just that there are still many of them who is unlike that one u just met...=)
