Difference between Snyder & Whedon cut revealed

https://www.reddit.com/r/DCEUleaks/comments...al_cut_details/

After reading through, I realized now why WB decided to do reshoots. Snyder's version is a lot messier and would've gotten even worse reviews
Whedon's contributions were the ones that made the story a bit more cohesive and were the ones that got praised the most by critics

Though I felt that if they kept some of the deleted scenes in, it would've made for a much more engaging story  sweat.gif

If this is legit and not hearsay, though despite across continents, many seem to share the exact type of sentiments about both directors forte.

The only postmortem Justice League fans should be asking is what is augurs for future Justice League given Joss Weadon is given green light adding not mere finishing touches to supposedly completed Snyder's "Justice League" but creative aspects that possibly changes some of the films tone

most of superman's scenes are done by whedon. including that 'do you bleed' dialogue. which is true because most of his scenes have cgi lips. so thats a good thing.

overall a good movie, the movie doesn't feel too slow paced and blink of eyes, 2 hours finished.

only 1 thing i hope they can do better, the final battles kinda feel anti-climax for so many super heroes in it but only so little actions.

just came back home from my 7:40pm viewing at MYTOWN GSC MAXX ATMOS HALL 3

Well, I enjoyed the movie overall but I personally felt that it could've been a bit longer for character development, plot wise, and more action scenes. The amount of actions scenes in this movie was fairly acceptable but maybe more of Steppenwolf vs The justice league action scenes during the last fight.

So, the movie was a bit fast pace during the first 30 minutes or so but slowly it pick itself up to the right pacing. The actors really played their roll well, and as a team they really knew each other very well with that special bond among themselves.

Will just have to wait for the extended Blu-ray version to give it another watch and see what's been cut off from the movie.

Nerveless while I wait for the Blu-ray, i'll give this movie another watch tomorrow at the same place and see what I think of it again, but I'll probably just feel the same experience again from my first viewing.

My Rating 7.5/10

what WB has done is good but there is still a lot of improvement needed to be done for the sequel and DC solo movies which I hope they can get it right.

not gonna complain any other bad side of the movie but it was satisfying seeing my heroes together at last on the big screen and that's what I care about.

And, like I said, nothing is still perfect but it can be improve more on future movies. so, take it as a fun and learning experience and use that to built another stronger and improve foundation.

My second viewing was even better. Still can't understand why this film got such a low RT score, cos this film is a very decent one

from someone who liked batman v superman on first viewing....I'll have to say Justice League didn't quite make it for me. The whole film just doesn't feel right to me except a few cool scenes

Watched in IMAX 3D, I really don't recommend it, it made the flaws look more significant.
you can easily tell which scene is reshot behind green screen and don't have enough time to polish up the CGI in post pro.... so many editing flaws...

I've done some reading about this catastrophy and it turns out everything goes bad because of the reshoot. And also because of Whedon's involvement. Damn I wish Snyder completed this movie instead of having that clown to finish it up for him. At first I thought this mess was because of Snyder, but now that I've seen it and read more about it, I would definitely prefer Snyder's original vision of this movie. F U WB for not having faith in him!

To me the biggest take away from JL:
A. Are they heading in the right direction.
B. Do I want to watch another DCEU movie.
Honestly thought it's an unwatchable mess with all the backroom dramas and the track record of Snyder. But it ends up not a shitshow. Well it just good enough and not gonna blow my socks off. So basically able to walk away with the hope they can get it right the next time although maybe a long 3 to 5 years before we get to see another JL sequel.

The bummer is DCEU will not able to catch up for a very long time. They will just be second fiddle no matter what until they have a solid platform of sustainable movies that come out on schedule to compete against Marvel. Maybe the answer is in regiment change and out of all the film directors rumoured or confirmed able to come up with better movies than the era of Snyder bad filmmaking phase.

I don't believe Joss Whedon is the answer to saving DC as his style is too safe and does not push the envelope. Russo Brothers simply are better filmmakers than him. He still has that TV film director aftertaste just like JJ Abrams. Well that just me.

Snyder left by his own choice...WB was even willing to delay JL to wait for him... Whedon was Synder's replacement choice as well...

Though either way...WB will have some interference to the directors' visions...

Justice League Reshoots Erased Aquaman's Story

According to Momoa:

“There’s a place where [Aquaman] goes down to, and it got cut out of the movie. He knows spots where he can go and he can see these statues, the remnants of [Atlantis]. There’s Vulko–obviously we’ll have way more scenes with Vulko, Willem Dafoe–in Aquaman. There just wasn’t enough time in this movie.”

I watched it a second time and thought it was actually really good. Better than BvS for sure
