Bradley Cooper wanted for The Flash in 'Justice League'?

QUOTE
According to We Got This Covered, Warner Bros is "actively pursuing" Cooper to play The Flash in its long-awaited superhero team-up film.

The same source is also quoted as saying that Warner Bros is beginning to doubt the viability of Justice League as a project overall, which has been dismissed by writer Mark Millar as "an excellent way of losing $200 million".

"They're scared, they are starting to doubt the whole project," the source claims. "Man of Steel is looking to be a hit but they still have doubts about Justice League. That's why they're trying to bring in some big names to make sure this thing gets off the ground."

It has been reported that Justice League's fate will be determined by Man of Steel's box office performance.

Ryan Reynolds, whose Green Lantern role Cooper reportedly auditioned for, has stated that he is not currently interested in reprising the part in Justice League.

Warner Bros previously announced Justice League for a 2015 release, but scripting issues have now pushed the likely release date back.

Considering that they just into the production in what? 2-3 months its quite a feat they manage to pull off this footage. Receive praise all over internet from reviewers and fans alike, this is the first time I met with someone who unimpressed by this trailer. I still didn't like ZS directing but I must say I'm impressed with DC trailer camp so far. Hopefully it will not be BvS 2.0..

Two words; Zack Snyder.

MoS. BvS. JL too?

Hope I'm super wrong.

WW on the other hand, 10x more excited.

Since the 'teaser', nothing has gotten me hyped up for this. Nothing.

I would be surprised beyond belief if this film is well received (by critics of course). DC fans, obviously blinded by Snyder's bells and whistles.

Somewhat related to BvS, bought 'Arkham Knight' for a mere $4.99 (24 hour Bundle Stars sale) and it had ALL the DLC included including BvS theme suit + batmobile rclxms.gif

This is how it looks in-game (not my video) :

Before watching the trailer, I told myself, "Please no Superman. Keep it a 'secret' if he will return, maybe tease" tongue.gif

So I am glad for that part.

The trailer is great but didn't get me super hyped... Seeing them working together nicely.. I hope Zack Snyder has improved on the 'story telling' part.

Next trailer will most likely reveal too much, quite scary sometimes to anticipate a big film only to have it ruined by the trailer.

The latest trailer did justice tongue.gif though still being very cautious due to BvS / Suicide Squad.

I hope this film does well (and not DC fanboy level 'well' but widely praised) and propels the DC cinematic universe forward.

We'll have Wonder Woman first though and from the trailer it looks freakin cool.

Another trailer? Well, that's expected but I think the previous one is a sufficient tease. laugh.gif

Hard to say from a trailer how good the film but thus far I'm hopeful.

How "great" Snyder is. If you're talking about visually appealing movies then yeah I totally agree "great" is the word.
*
"300" was Snyder's best film to date, that's it. Everything else that came after that... all style and little substance ("MoS" was decent but not great).

I'm hoping "Justice League" changes that, there was some potential in "BvS" that was sadly missed.

Didn't watch the new trailer and probably won't to avoid potential spoilers in the even the film is worth watching. tongue.gif

The whole Whedon/Snyder thingy... what's the big deal about it... some people smh, in the end the film quality is what matters most

lol u dc fanboy seriously dont know this guys??? doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif

this guys is the one that created iconic batman theme song for tim burton's batman films & batman animated series...
*
What?? That's Danny friggin Elfman... doh.gif aiyo... he did iconic themes for films like Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scisscorhands and well... imma leave it be... if you are a movie fan you would know at least a few of his films.

At least... a few. A 'legendary' Hollywood composer in many ways. Should be a blessing to have him involved in JL.

I think Justice League is in good hands, but we'll find out in a couple of weeks. icon_rolleyes.gif

...In all honesty, why not just for the final release and then make a call. I was skeptical of WW, but it turned out great.

Not interested in advance ticket... will wait for feedback from you guys/reviews first. biggrin.gif

I'm hopeful this will be far greater than BvS but whether 'great' or 'just ok' we'll see...

Pffft... mixed reaction.

Doesn't sound too good to me... dry.gif

Said to be better than BvS which is hardly surprising.

I'll just wait and see but already doubtful.

Mixed positive, more positive than negative biggrin.gif
Even WW wasn't 100% positive, many citing a weak third act, yet got a 93 on rt

So, chill.... Quite confident this will score > 50 on rt
*
My benchmark for this year was 80+ on RT... tongue.gif Skipped quite a number of anticipated movies this year (I'm looking at you Alien: Covenant), no regrets.

QUOTE(ThalaFan @ Nov 11 2017, 11:00 PM)
I dont think Rotten Tomato's consensus would apply to Justice League. At least this time

The film is anticipated globally despite bad-taste BVS left on the fans & mainstream viewers

RT trashed every Transformer film, despite it raking in billions

Likewise RT glorifies every Danial Craig film (especially Casino Royale, QoS, Skyfall, Spectre etc) despite most of them being substandard action fares at best

There's also criticism of RT's tendency to favor MCU films over DC. Homecoming & Crapnarok were borderline average films, yet received fresh ratings from RT
*
You need to understand how RT works... I'm more of a 'big figure' >80 = worth checking out type movie goer.

Regarding the tendency to favor MCU over DC, that is utter BS...

Since you mentioned Thor Ragnarok...

Fresh: 270
Rotten: 20
270-20 / 270 = 92.5 = 93%

But... the average rating
Average Rating: 7.5/10

Accounting all the 270 'fresh' reviews... the "average fresh score" is 7.5/10 and not '93/100'.

So in a way, the 93% RT score simply 'glorifies' the movie rating of 7.5/10. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hah, really tough call this time. Most of these critics have a vendetta against Snyder for some reason

WB just needs to remove Snyder and stop meddling in the film's production, problem solved  rclxms.gif

And get a director who critics will praise no matter what *cough*
*
Huh... I highly doubt anyone has any vendetta against a film director. Case and point, Justin Kurzel. All his films highly praised, then came 'Assassin's Creed'. Bam... rotten beyond words can describe.

Patty Jenkins did tremendously well with WW.

Matt Reeves helming 'The Batman' - - this is something to watch out for.

...but if story/pacing/acting/writing is poor, no one/nothing can save a movie.

The problem with Snyder films - - all action but no substance. At least for BvS.
