Man, I'm so torn, on one hand I want to see Superman in the trailer, while on the other hand...I don't.

I can't decide which is better.

On one hand I want to see the trailer, while on the other hand I feel it may have spoilers.

But I seriously want to get hyped for this.

I might watch the final trailer.

I'm so confused right now.

Another 9 hours plus to go before the final trailer...

9pm tonight ya'll.

why not? I mean, we all know Superman is going to be in this movie. So i dont think his appearance in the supposedly final trailer would ruin anything by introducing him smile.gif

I had seen the BvS in cinema. I cannot gave it more than 6 out 10 rating (10 being the best rating). But change my opinion after the seen the extended edition with above 7 out 10 rating.
I do hope this time WB would not left out most of important scenes in upcoming JL, like they did with BvS.

im pretty sure JL will have lots of unused footage considering that there r 2 directors working on it with extensive reshoots.

I think a lot of people are still confused about Rottentomatoes rating system. The percentage is based on the number of positive reviews, not the exact rating aggregates (like 4/5 stars, 90/100 marks) like what metacritics is doing.

7/10 from me

- bogged down by 2 hours limit from WB executive. could have benefited more from an extra 10-20 mins.
- wonky editing and pacing especially in the first act
- something wrong with the color grading especially during the final act, somewhat exaggerating the poor cgi effects.
- weak villain, as bad as Ronan in guardians of the galaxy 1.
- again, weak cgi, final battle worse than BvS doomfist final battle lmao
- superman’s cgi lips urrgghh especially the opening scene
- batman's sudden 180 degree character changes from BvS. from a super serious guy, suddenly becoming a wiseass trying to make jokes in every scenes.
- batman's opening battle lmao. one of the worst fight in comic book history ever. what happened to that awesome BvS warehouse fightscene? :/
- lots of wonder woman’s butt shot (kinda cheapen the character imo). also there's a scene where flash landed on her boobs. typical joss whedon crass humor. blueerrgghh
- quite a lot of jokes not working due to flat delivery by some of the characters. flash's jokes are decent, but aquaman's..not so much.
- forgettable song theme. danny elfman's generic superhero theme ruins the only positive thing in BvS.

But hey, it was fun. never a dull moment unlike BvS. 2nd half of the movie works way better than the first half in terms of editing and scene cohesiveness. Good chemistry between the JL members. Better than BvS, but not as good as Man of Steel. So there’s that.

so they didnt include the black superman's suit from older promo pics, no signs of oracle.. lots of scenes from the trailers didnt make it to the final cut. hmm what else is cut? im pretty sure almost half of the movie are reshoots especially scenes with superman (due to the noticeable cgi lips).

we might have ended up with different and darker justice league, and maybe it didnt do well during early test screenings therefore forcing the WB to ask joss whedon to change the overall tone. and maybe due to budget overblown by the reshoots, they had to limit the new cut under 2 hours hmm.gif last minute replacement of theme composer, from XL junkie to Elfman for the sake of the tone. Elfman's theme doesnt bring anything new or memorable to the table unfortunately.

i really really want DCEU to succeed, but they seem to have a lot of production issues in almost all of their movies, end up releasing subpar and roughly edited movies in the theatres.

Difference between Snyder & Whedon cut revealed

https://www.reddit.com/r/DCEUleaks/comments...al_cut_details/

After reading through, I realized now why WB decided to do reshoots. Snyder's version is a lot messier and would've gotten even worse reviews
Whedon's contributions were the ones that made the story a bit more cohesive and were the ones that got praised the most by critics

Though I felt that if they kept some of the deleted scenes in, it would've made for a much more engaging story  sweat.gif

most of superman's scenes are done by whedon. including that 'do you bleed' dialogue. which is true because most of his scenes have cgi lips. so thats a good thing.
