2 account - nominee or direct, both have cds.
HL nominee not much different than direct, but direct is prefered.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a final year student currently pursuing my degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Finance from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). Me and my thesis mates need your help in filling up our survey. This contributes to our final year research project on Investor Rationality in which we are studying about an investor's behaviour and decision making. If you have purchased or dealt with investments in Malaysia such as shares, mutual funds, bonds, fixed deposits and derivatives then you fit our criteria of target respondents. This is an anonymous survey where sensitive information (e.g: total annual income) cannot be tracked to you, your email address or contact number.

Select your prefered choice of language. Clicking on the link below will open up the survey form.

(In English) Survey:Investor Rationality

(In Malay) Soal Selidik:Pelabur Rasional

(In Chinese) 投资者理性

The links above do not contain any virus. It leads you to Google docs. Our target is to obtain 500 respondents by the end of July. Please help us achieve this by forwarding this survey to any friends or family members of yours who is also an investor. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to email me at investor.finance10@gmail.com.

Thank You,

I don't understand what this means under the "Settlement" tab in hle.

Is it something like T+3?

For example I have rm5000 in the account, I buy RM4500 worth of shares, and the acount shows 50% of RM4500 is used up for the trade, does that mean I need to bank in the remaining RM2250 within 3 days or get a margin call?

It is T+3 settlement screen.
If you have sufficient amount, it will auto settled. Need not bank in more.

The 50% thingy is your trading limit, it show how much trading available you have diffirent from your balance.
Normally, they give 2X tradable limit from your cash balance.

e.g
Cash balance = RM5000
Trading limit is 2X = 5000 X 2 = RM10000 trading limit.

You can trade up to RM10000 and if you do, then you need to top up addtional RM5000 to make up to RM10000 cash
when T+3 settlement due.

is there any price alert feature in hlebroking? for example, if a stock under my favourite list has hit a bottom/upper limit, the system will alert us by email.

n2n connect broker system used by cimb/apex has such features i think...
