Probably 3 weeks first. During this first stage we'll have to adjust things as you go along, to accommodate for any discomfort, satiety issues, etc. After the first 3 weeks then we shall decide again.

Usual causes would be bloating and/or uncleared stools.

What you can do is to follow the formulated diet plan.

one thing you should know is there is no real method to diagnose IBS.

IBS is a diagnosis that can only be concluded after excluding all other possible causes.

which can mean a lot of tests and time to exclude other and all possible causes. which can mean a lot of money.

go talk to the doctor if you really want to know.

i still don't think it is IBS. it is too rare in asians

i don't know. but his diet definitely needs fixing from what i can tell.

if the current diet works for him then by all means continue it.
