Hang on how does the connection look like ?
PS3 HDMI to receiver ( plug in which hdmi on my 663 receiver ? ) Also do you mean (A) PS3 to HDTV or (B) Receiver to HDTV ( the plug in receiver is located where ? ) |

QUOTE(yfyap69 @ May 12 2008, 01:48 PM) But from my understanding, if do this way, doesn't that mean the amplifier will be processing the video instead of the PS3 ??? I hear the 663 is limited in terms of video scaling and etc. So wouldn't it be better for the PS3 to handle video, and the PS3 to handle only audio ?? Thanks everyone Which HDMI cable do i buy, the cheap Rm 20 one, or the expensive Rm 100+ hdmi cable ?? This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: May 12 2008, 02:08 PM |

HDMI cable? theres is a lot of bickering/debates/fighting/war between cheap & branded/expensive one. So if u ask me, i'll go for cheap one (coz digital, 1, 0 thingy) and i look at the build quality also. |

thx apisgogo and everyone else.
So which hdmi brand and model is cheap would you get ?? curious. I was hoping to go shopping for 1 x coaxial and 1 x hdmi cable today I found out from the popcorn hour forum that right now my component wiring is allowing 24000 hz AAC audio sources to play fine on my popcorn. They said that DTS will not work over component which is why i have to switch the connection to a digital coaxial and set the popcorn to output dts as digital raw. The downside they said was 24000 aac is not supported over digital...... so i would then have to constantly be changing the wiring connection type everytime i want to watch videos with 24000 aac audio, or videos encoded with dts audio ..... Is there any solution for this as well, like a switch of sorts |
