for yammie fans here, dun 4get this week there's a sale at Yamaha - Kelana Jaya. up to 70% discount. me, looking for AVR - probably 1800. rclxms.gif

I knew I hesitate to go with 1800 for a reason. Just look at 1900 power per channel. 180W I tell u hehe. Onky 875 should run and hide laugh.gif

WoW 3900 with 200w per chan.. but how does it hold up with 7channels.. so far the onkys and denons even with 7.1 setup the power distribution per channel is still close to promised.. but,, nonetheless thanks for the link arremie! glad i havnt took the plunge upgrading my avr yet... curious what denon/onkyo have under their sleeve..

I already knew about the new models. The speaker posts for 1900 still too close to each other, one of the trouble for me when I use bare wires. The rated power for Yamaha always falls apart in real world tests. This and many others are not big issue, but they helped me make my decision. wink.gif

PS: The remotes for the new models is a total make over. I like it, nice job Yamaha. thumbup.gif

that one have to wait till it arrives at our water lor.. but my comment on price is its all going to cost over 3k.. therefore, if ure going to spend over 3k on something already then might as well close ure eyes and just hit buy on the best one that attract u the most..
