don't know m'sian price but saw somewhere that it's US$ 1,400 for RXV-1900 & $1,900 for RXV3900. suspect it'll be priced higher in bolehland.

but yammys suppose to be made in msia right? if thats the case, would it still be subject to tax??

these foreign factories in m'sia (onkyo / yamaha etc) enjoy tax exemption only if they export the products manufactured. For goods sold in m'sia, will definitely be taxed.

unless u r staying in Langkawi and apply for 'tax exemptions' to import this avr.

Well, very unlikely IMHO. My first black Yammy was made in Japan, after that, when they're all made in Malaysia, we don't get to choose black colour anymore.

should had auditioned yours. anyway I'll just go for it blindly because it's cheap and i think paired with a 1800 it'll always be better than my old Pioneer HTiB.

Depending on size. Mine is Draper. Abt RM780 for 92".

Full HD pj is in the range of RM10 - RM12K. For HD65, what I can say is the best value for money for peasants like us, who dream of big screen but with budget constraint. I think rx330, kiam and megatron007 will agree on this

For better pj, Infocus Play Big IN81 is outstanding! But very pricey

Infocus .. i've heard of that brand, hd65 will do for me. your screen will be in my wishlist, because I'll need to use my tv for normal viewing, can't afford to have a second room. so the roll down will be my best solution.

i think sanyo z2000 was rm8K plus when i checked more than 6 months ago.. although its just the 'entry' model for full hd, many pro have mentioned many times that a average full hd pj is always alot better than a great 720p pj... this includes the blacks

epson tw1000 if buy from price japan delivered to malaysia also below rm7500.. lets say u belanja the custom rm500 for poweroot kopi, total is rm8k with 2 years international warranty.. i have also called up epson malaysia n they have confirmed they do cover the warranty.

but i went for optoma 65 at the end also.. for rm3600 n the pic quality really vely good for me liao.. like htkaki said.. BEST VALUE!
