Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting one MOMO here but the problem is I think my table is too thick for the clamping. Ryugan, I remembered you showed me a thread where everyone show their cockpit setup, where was it ah? I forgot where already...

Thanks man wink.gif

But the reason why I want to look for these threads because my table is a bit too thick for the clamping. I'm looking for ways to fit it as I don't have extra table or so.. Anyone could give me suggestions?

I'm planning to get one soon, I haven't got it yet. So I've been thinking what solutions I can get before I purchase it, otherwise I don't think I'll get one if I failed to find a solution. Bear in mind that the thickness I measured is 13cm.

Here's the picture of my desk :

Whoa..thats a bit too thick...im using a typical office desk and my momo couldnt fit at first but i loosen the clamps screws at the sides abit and managed to squeeze it in. I'll do a measurement later on and let you know.

Btw, thats a drawer is it? Would u be able to take it out? If u can then it'll be perfect.

Added on April 28, 2008, 5:37 pmO ok so urs is 13cm...i'll let u know mine...but i think mine is thinner.

Well yeah, it's a drawer, I thought of taking it as well but there's a problem underneath the drawer there's one plank that supports the drawer.. I've been thinking of other ways to fit the MOMO with other table or anything but for now I couldn't think of any cheap ways to have it..

Just my opinions. Using photoshop, so not so nice, hope you understand what I mean.
The extension part is to screw the momo

That what I did for my computer table. Cos if buy new table, although can fit momo nicely, but have to move all stuffs to new table, very troublesome, so just DIY the table. tongue.gif

Sorry bluewind i think i overestimate my desk thickness. My table edge is not as thick. Can u show us a pic of ur drawer support?

Added on April 29, 2008, 11:39 amI have an alternative for u but its out of budget.

http://www.simracingstation.com/GB/WHEEL_SUPP_DESK.html Actually u can get a G25 with that ridiculously priced thing tho....
