If i had time i might use my mountain bike foxshox hydraulic absorber and mods the pedal. Found this on ebay: ![]() |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Oct 24 2021, 04:06 PM) yeah i guess the euro truck simulator 2 is very addictive. Yes indeed! totally addictive and immersive because it really simulate my actual experience driving home 'balik kampung' style. All those driving ambient and places to visit makes driving more enjoyable. Sometimes on weekend i spent 12 hours just driving just visiting places. Having travelled Europe via driving, im very impressed by it. so immersive and real. Vibration dissipation via seatbelt
Finally i've installed SPARCO seatbelt and to my surprise it was really worth it for some immersion reason: 1. The chassis vibration from ButtKicker system and SIM HUB "Shake-It" reverberate into my seat belt making it more immersive feeling through my body especially the vibration from various engine and brake rumble feedback. 2. Since i'm on VR it makes it feel more secure and life like behind the wheel. 3. Helps to force me into proper seating posture, no more back bone pain. Soon probably will put strong digital high torque servo to pull the seatbelt for extra G-Force effect since i have 2x extra unused connection port on SIM HUB/ADAFRUIT motor shield hardware. QUOTE(SupermotoXL @ Oct 19 2021, 08:56 PM) VR racing rig Oh nice, Buttkicker. And that rig is from Simmatch is it? Interested to find a 80/20 rig too, but good ones like Sim-Lab are from Netherlands and heavy, if import to here sure expensiveSharing my VR racing rig build comes with Butt kicker BK and some DIY Arduino 'Shake-It' system through SIMHUB program for maximum immersion. Have to use table fan to cool down the overheating Amplifier and Arduino UNO hardware. Have to constantly tighten the rig screws every week due to immense vibration too. I'm using the rig to run PC sim: Assetto Corsa and Euro Truck simulator. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() QUOTE(Bonchi @ Oct 22 2021, 08:59 PM) I saw some DIY just use a scrap actual car braking system with braking fluid plus the actual breakpad and disk brake Anyone of u using Heusinkveld Sprint's, Fanatec Clubsport V3 or the more budget Thrustmaster T-LCM? Those looks like nice stuff Im using thrustmaster T150 with t3pa pedal jer and TH8A addon. Bought T150 cuz back then T300 doesnt comes with T3PA pedal with clutch. Although tested both feedback, it felt 90% similar so didnt bother to upgrade. There are alot of mods can be done on t3pa to make the brakes feels nicer... especially the rubber cone that comes with the pedal itself. This post has been edited by Bonchi: Nov 22 2021, 11:06 AM |

QUOTE(Bonchi @ Jan 8 2022, 01:15 AM) After i try the Akina track i realized i suk drifting on narrow roads. Need to sharpen my drift skills first. hahaha. I didn't rev matching, hard to 'blip' accelerator pedal timing right to rev the engine a bit and bite the clutch when i busy chasing the opponent infront of me and cornering. Will try to learn rev matching soon. Thanks. This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: Jan 8 2022, 08:56 PM |

Grip is faster than drift but yeah.. just constantly force yourself to blip the throttle when you downshift and eventually muscle memory will set in.
