Im going for lazada birthday sale T300RS GT....i never play with wheel before but im quite good with racing game with joypay.....so any other info i should know before i pull the trigger....?
It's a great wheel. Personally id say it's way better than the logitecs... it's only a step behind fanatec.
the only bad thing about it is that it doesnt have a H shifter... adding a thrustmaster shifter will cost a bomb.
Ill think ill be fine without the shifter...as im driving my civic with paddle shift anyway...so any other bad issue with t300rsgt...overheat of something bad like thay....how bout its reliability?
Then should be no problem. I drive 2-3 f1 full grandprix 60+ laps back to back on weekends and no sign of overheating. Wear and tear mostly cosmetic.
Thanks 👍. Read about the center pole being a no no for long term. So I decided to go with NLR GT Lite which is around Playseat Challenger price. Let me see how the hobby goes because I just want to release some stim with Sim racing instead of driving like mad man on public roads.
to lepas stim, https://www.lazada.com.my/products/kl-24hou...1531670644.html this is enough already... when you shyok liao only change to those with racing seats. If you commit now, you also need to think about room space. Plus that NLR GT Lite looks wobbly, it will affect your driving when you counter steer in drift or do hard braking in F1. (if you add rubber stoppers to make your brakes stiffer for better realism, the rack might not handle too)
In fact I just clamp on on my desk (although you'll need a steady desk)... janji use 32" monitor or 40" TV for best effect.

If im not mistaken, it's much better than fanatec. And most importantly, not a proprietary ecosystem... so you can technically mix and match pedals, gear shifters, dash and motion etc.

what is the most budget entry racing wheel to start with ?
Logitech G29

How about using those Ikea Poang armchair and DIY own table? Anyone in this thread uses this method? What other options besides Logitech and Thrustmaster? Actually would like to try Fanatec DD in the future, see whats so great. Hope in the future we Malaysians can get to buy it also. Especially now seems like sim racing is becoming more popular
If DIY then anything is possible. can even use a half cut car dash board for the best feel lol.
Direct drive is a whole level of its own with 20N of force that is enough to break your wrist when you crash at 100% feedback. But most importantly the feedback is much quicker and stronger so you can really feel the grip level of each wheels way way better. However, fanatec is pretty over rated. There's a lot of much better and cheaper direct drive systems out there. But have to really consider getting the full set and solid aluminum anchored rack. the feedback is strong enough to flip an ikea table... that's why the entry cost to a direct drive can pretty much buy a car.
That lots of metal hardware work especially with real fluid, my G923 brake pedal already hard enough on leg exercise for a day. If i had time i might use my mountain bike foxshox hydraulic absorber and mods the pedal.
Found this on ebay:
Im using thrustmaster haha and did the squash ball method
Anyone of u using Heusinkveld Sprint's, Fanatec Clubsport V3 or the more budget Thrustmaster T-LCM? Those looks like nice stuff
Im using thrustmaster T150 with t3pa pedal jer and TH8A addon.
Bought T150 cuz back then T300 doesnt comes with T3PA pedal with clutch. Although tested both feedback, it felt 90% similar so didnt bother to upgrade.
There are alot of mods can be done on t3pa to make the brakes feels nicer... especially the rubber cone that comes with the pedal itself.

After i try the Akina track i realized i suk drifting on narrow roads. Need to sharpen my drift skills first. hahaha.
I didn't rev matching, hard to 'blip' accelerator pedal timing right to rev the engine a bit and bite the clutch when i busy chasing the opponent infront of me and cornering. Will try to learn rev matching soon. Thanks.
Grip is faster than drift but yeah.. just constantly force yourself to blip the throttle when you downshift and eventually muscle memory will set in.
Hi, good evening. Last week buy Logitech G29. Last night suddenly stereng no power. Green led and pedal okay. Only stereng can't use now. I suspect power supply dead.
Actually this is second time happen. Last month buy Logitech G29 at shopee. Send back to claim warranty. Need wait 3-4 week to get replacement.
Hand itchy buy new last week. Now broken again, same problem. Want to buy new power supply. Already buy at Amazon but take time to arrived. Hand itchy to play GT Sport.
Thanks, need more training. 3 hours per-day spinning around in AE.
My best time is 5.28 with the standard ae86 tuned... it is very hard to be consistent and fast from start to end. Really mad respect to those youtubers can do under 5.20.
