ermm planning to get M50SA or F8SP, not going to G2Sg, our of my price range edi!

if u hv the budget, go for fujitsu or toshiba..if not can go for HP or IBM..

i think wat nglg212 mean is lenovo thinkpad as ibm computer department had been taken over by china lenovo since yr 2006. it is also my first choice.

Hey I'm looking for a laptop

1. In terms of brand, preferably Not Acer.
2. ~RM2000-2500 (Willing to exceed budget to up to 2.8k if neccesary)
3. - Looks good to the eyes, not too ugly. (I think asus generally looks good to me)
- Graphic card is good for casual gaming (able to play PES 2008 on medium settings without lag)
4. 15 inch screen , I like big screens.

Possible? I hope someone recommends me something good, i need this urgently in the next two days. Because I'm trading in my old laptop.

means,upgrade ur laptop's graphic card only.FYI, laptop GC is not as easy to upgrade as desktop as its soldered( pateri) onto ur mobo.means it'll stick to u for the entire lifespan of ur laptop.BTW, i've no confidence in GeForce 8400GS also.in desktop version,this card doesn't even worth 100 bucks.i tried wif fren's 8600GT DDR 2 256 MB laptop (its an Asus F- smtg smtg,priced at 3999 during pc fair),play Lost Planet:Extreme Condition cannot put high settings.medium only.

back to topic: take Core2Duo, dun take Pentium Dual Core if u can afford c2d

AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core.if this?also consider c2d?

C2D = Pentium Core 2 Duo
Turion x2 = AMD dual-core processor

Please do not mix them up. Two different systems.
