Don't get it wrong ... SDK is not for end users. Its for developers to develop the apps for iphone. Its a set of developement tools to ease the programming of the app on iphone, something like the unofficial toolchain dat people uses now to develop current apps.
The apps develop with the SDK will be release via itunes. Some may be free and some u have to pay for it. It depends on the developer. The developer need to send the app to apple for evaluation and apple will sign the app with the application key. This is where 'NIKITA' comes to place. The apps will be executed in a 'sandbox', a protected space thats interact indirectly with the critical system files so no damage can be done to the system.
