Why are u still using v2.2? Download the latest version 2.4 and use it. U can use the gui or command prompt. If u decide to use the GUI i recommend to use the advance feature and just tick jailbreak, activate and unlock. If u use the "Do it all!", then this downgrade the BL. Hope this help. But one thing ... downloading the new version is kinda slow. So its up to u actually.

Copyright issues? Since when bluetooth is a copyright issue? I think u mean transfering songs using bluetooth? Well they can easily block song transfer. Why they did not impliment it coz they have not perfected the process even on OS X. Thats why ... not becoz of copyright issues.

Added on February 24, 2008, 10:34 pmIs ur backup on itunes comes from ur 1.1.2 backup? If yes then this explain why ur sms jumble up ... i think . Since the file structure change from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 and oso the sms app change to accomodate multiple sms sending.

That one is more like fusing the color to the material itself. Something like powdercoating but this thing bonds and harden the material.

Actually 1.1.4 is a worth upgrade from 1.1.3 as it fixes bug from 1.1.3 like sms order and bluetooth problem (does not mean bluetooth file transfer). Some say it enhance the signal reception.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... pick up the package this morning and went straight to office. Operation begins at 1345 and ends at 1600. Patient is doing well with new battery and cover. Will go for burn test after this. This operation really makes me have cold sweats. Phewwww. Will post pics of the operation later.

Opening the black antenna cover. This was the easy part.

This thing really give me the headache. Really strugling with the back case. The green opener thingy can last for one session only. Wohooooo ... finally can take it off. (Sorry la bro nokia2003 ... i know u really want to see this show).

So here's the damaged battery. Puntured it real good.

Time to transplant the cabling from the original casing. Those screws are REALLY tiny ... even i have 20/20 vision oso got problem.

Putting it back took double the effort. Hand shaking just to put the screws back on. It's not that difficult just need patient.

The power source have change places. Out with the OLD and in with the NEW one. Luckily the battery didn't explode when i puntured it the first time.

Finally ... the operation is a success. Putting back the back cover is a snap (literally snapping it back to place) and the black cover. Now my phone is a good as new.

Now charging the battery and ready for a burn test. Hopefully everything is ok and didn't left any screwdriver or playar in the phone hehehehehehe.

Last time want to do the Hardware unlock but didn't have the right tool. Thats why.

The battery and case cost USD60 (Battery USD20 and Case USD40) + USD3 for shipping.

Hmmm ... first time I use a pen knife. Then its easy to remove the cover just with a small flathead screwdriver. Which part of the cover cracks? Guitar pick oso can ... make sure the thinnest u can find. I don't think the cover crack coz it can take some pressure.
