why not try 3GHz? your proc definitely able to do that icon_rolleyes.gif
i owned a 3600+ once, it can do around the same like yours at stock vcore icon_rolleyes.gif

p/s: Maybe you should use Super Pi latest version
you can download from here: http://www.xtremesystems.com/pi/super_pi_mod-1.5.zip

Fear not the power of 1.5V bro awh85 icon_idea.gif Unless your using the stock cooler tongue.gif

Sifu's, managed to reach DDR2 970 with my team value ram, but havent tested for stability. Tried for DDR2 1000mhz but instantly bsod.

Never really overclocked my ram before so was quite pleased about getting this high thumbup.gif . Any advice on getting it stable? My timings are ald in the screenie, and I'm using 2.3v. Cooling is an issue I guess. Comments plz

Ok........then fear u shall, til you get a new cooler. What are your load temps now? Should be reaching 60 I tink. I'm using tuniq tower atm. With 1.55v @ 3.0ghz the load temp is 50C. But duno can trust the onboard DTS or not. Either way proc is still running so far so ok la thumbup.gif . Hmm lastime i was considering getting Evercool Buffalo as it was only arnd RM70 n apparently did a decent job.

icic, its ok.

im using stock cooler but cant get 2.85 anyhow with stock voltage, so is it possible the problem there lies in my cooler?

the 3GHz failed coz SuperPi32M will fail after 1 or 2 mins and as wel as orthos failing 1 or 2 minutes into it as well.

besides that, if i open some webpages and listen to some songs or open many things at once, i will auto reboot. =.=''

any HFS which is good performing, silent, flexible (can use on lga775 and am2) and possibly some bling (LED)to recommend me?

awh85, maybe lowering HTT multiplier helps ? Tuniq Tower 120 seems affordable brows.gif

someone said that Brisbane CPU temp can be trusted, it just the temp on core CPU #1 and CPU #2 cannot be trusted. forgot who said but IINM I did asked last time unsure.gif

my load temps for 1.36 vcore at 2 300x9.5 is around 55c +/- IINM.

btw, can i ask, whats the benefit of OC-ing RAM?

Attached Image

hmm...my RAM at 713, is that considered ok? or can it go higher? if can go higher, can i know roughly how to do it? thanks? btw, my ram voltage as of now is default.

EDITED: Hoho he did post for the timing. No vdimm posted before tongue.gif

Based on my exp, cooler just cools down my temp. It doesn't really helps me to go further. Last time with stock HSF I manage to go 2.85GHz stable, same goes now with GeminII. I just need a good PSU to go further doh.gif

OC-ing RAM is for you to determine the RAM max bandwidth. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Or maybe it is unstable due to you didn't pump any vdimm ? hmm.gif Try to pump one or two times only

Thats good temps bro. Hmm about memory oc-ing, as of now I havent really notcied that much performance improvement except in benchmarks, but I think it will be beneficial in memory intensive apps.
