I have PSP Slim and currently running 3.71 M33. I want to upgrade 3.71-4 M33. Is this tutorial reliable? http://www.stylemo.com/2007/12/27/how-to-u...e-to-371-m33-4/

It says upgrade directly to 3.71-4 without having to install prev. revision.

And also there is no such option in my recovery mode: "Enter the recovery mode and go to Configuration -> Game folder homebrew. It should read Currently 3.71 Kernel"

Thanks a bunch msn83235502. Updated mine and no problem were encountered. icon_idea.gif

I wonder what popsloader.prx in the update files is. Shall I replaced it with the new one?

And if I want to go to 3.80-5, what I should do is upgrade to 3.80 --> 3.80-2 --> Then network update or update to 3.80-4. Correct? icon_idea.gif

Thanks again.

Would like to know if there's any program which can encode a movie together with subtitle files (.srt) for the PSP?

Thanks for any help.

Well, remember this: Newer updates contain old updates as well.

It means that revision 5 will contain updates from revision 2, 3, and 4. So it's the same if you go straight to V3.80 M33-5 from V3.80 M33.

And you don't have to go to V3.80 M33-2 to perform the network update. You can do that from V3.80 M33 itself. smile.gif

Erm, to which folder did you copy the M33CREATOR folder to?

And your PSP is running which kernel: 1.50 or 3.03?

If you're at 3.03 OE now, you should place the M33CREATOR folder inside MSROOT/PSP/GAME150

Hi guys, I am very new to PSP. I won a psp in a lucky draw. Now deciding whether to sell it or not. Have crappy knowledge on PSP so I did a bit of research and noticed that most of the games are racing/soccer etc etc. Didn't notice any nice RPG game in PSP so I am now in a dilemma whether I should keep it or sell it. I notice that there are a lot of other functions in PSP but I have no idea how to use them tongue.gif

No need to rename. Just put it in a folder (u can name the folder) and put the folder inside PSP/GAME/ then try to run it. If u cant start the game..try to change the folder to PSP/GAME150 or PSP/GAME371 (this is according to ur kernel and homebrew u wanna use).

So it will be something like this...PSP/GAME/the game folder/EBOOT.PBP

EDIT: u're using slim PSP so either PSP/GAME/ or PSP/GAME371/.

It can be done. smile.gif

Two options:
1. Upgrade to V2.71 and use a downgrader to bring the version to V1.50.
2. Use Pandora's.
