now only support .mp4
rumours saying that in future might support for divx, dunno how true

another question, is all avi = divx ?
*

I only saw .avi = divx. I would like to know too.... hmm.gif

But it would be great if PSP can support H.264 @ x264 (.mkv). I prefer this than divx (.avi).

not necessary, avi just a container, some times is divx, sometimes is xvid (open source), and last time was Indeo/cinepak tongue.gif
PSP can support h264 AVC, but only limited to baseline profile with not more than 500kbps of video bitrate

look at 3.51 M33 and download it, open the readme file, from there, follow this and steps below

QUOTE
2 - Once done it, or if you are under any Special/Open Edition, copy M33CREATOR folder to your "ms0:/PSP/GAME" (1.50fw) or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150" (SE/OE)
3 - Download official 3.51 eboot, rename it to 351.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/"
4 - Download official 1.50 eboot, rename it to 150.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/"
5 - Go to Games/Memory Stick on your PSP, and execute "3.51 M33 CREATOR". Once finished, it will go back to the XMB.
6 - Go again to Games/Memory Stick on your PSP, and execute "3.51 M33UPDATE". You'll have to press X to agree to the installation.
7 - When finished, press X to shut down and reboot manually.
8 - Enjoy your 3.51 M33 wink.gif
From there, you are on the M33 wagons, proceed to download 3.80 M33, understand the readme first.
I cannot make any guarantee that these are the exact steps

If going to shop update, expect no less than RM50. It takes just a while to update only

just make sure your psp is charged at least 75% and better yet while u run the update program keep the power plugged in. If you somehow lose power during the update process your psp will get bricked.

QUOTE(sprix @ Jan 18 2008, 10:55 AM)
yup.. if 4gig.. sure u'll face the lag prob.. so just format ur memory stick to FAT16 format..  then, u can play what ever game as smooth as a silk.. huhu..

this is the guide  thumbup.gif

How to format specifying filesystem

just connect ur psp to ur pc as usual.. then do the step below...

1. Go to Start Menu -> Run...
2. Type 'cmd' without quotes
3. At command prompt, type:
'format x: /q /fs:FAT' (without quotes, this is for FAT16 filesystem)
(change x to your MS drive)

If asks for a Force Dismount, choose yes.
If it warns you about compatibility problems on FAT16, just ignore it.
If it asks for a Volume Label, just type anything or none at all.

gudluck.. smile.gif

back up ur folder and any save game coz memory stick will be formatted fresh like a baby...  icon_rolleyes.gif

Did you download the correct official firmware? maybe your EBOOT.PBP already corrupted. try download again. smile.gif

and make sure u need 3 files inside the UPDATE folder (mso:PSP/GAME/UPDATE), which consists of
-EBOOT.PBP
-u235.prx
-380.PBP
