Mines fine getting 120KBps. Try using some of the manuals i linked in my earlier post. You have to set up uTorrent right to make it work. Don't just download and think it will work out of box like that. Must tinker with the settings and i also used the TCP/IP patch to increase my concurrent connections. Which for me works wonders.

Make sure your upload bandwidth isn't very low. I seen many people that just freeload but don't want to release their upload speeds. If you suspect throttling try Force encryption flex.gif.

Good luck. Take care.

Seriously I am not newbie noob out of nowhere that just DL and set BT up lah. doh.gif

If u check my screen, it is FORCE encryption. My upload is 20kb/s on which I think is more than enough without cripper my DL speed. Typically my upload stays above 17-18kb/s but my DL never run pass 15kb/s doh.gif

that DL file is like 5GBs it is gonna take 1 week 24/7 to finish it. doh.gif

It's impossible for TM to be throttling it unless they've invested in some highly advanced techniques (unlikely).

My speeds are OK. There are many other factors that can affect your speed so it's not necessarily TM's fault.

EDIT:
From Wikipedia:
"Encryption also won't stop a traffic shaping system configured to universally slow down all encrypted, unidentifiable or unknown protocols using a method as simple as packet loss."

utorrent isn't working for me anymore. I'm getting less then <10 KB/s, a few weeks back I could get 100> kb/s.

But then again, the whole internet seems really slow these last couple days, I can't even stream video from some sites.

Sometimes I have the illusion that it's being throttled, but the fact is I can still get good speeds. I believe it must just be some of the torrents.

I tried the guide. No such luck. Its 5 AM over here and I'm getting ~ 10 KB/s on a torrent with 300 seeds. I think TM net has found a way to block encrypted torrents, or there is something wrong with the .net connection.

Yes, you can. Just make sure that you're using a fixed LAN IP.

Alternatively you may use UPnP. You don't really have to set anything up this way. Make sure to check a few things:
1. UPnP is enabled in your router.
2. The Universal Plug and Play Device Host Service and the SSDP Discovery Service are running.
3. In µTorrent, go to Options > Preferences > Connections, check "Enable UPnP port mapping".

Try this.

Official: µTorrent Connection Setup Guide

If you're still having problems go to the µTorrent forum. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't call that super fast. I'm talking of speeds of at least 50 kb/s -- I was averaging at least 100+ kb/s a few weeks back.

It's common to get very low speeds on public trackers, so don't think just because you have 300 seeds your d/l speed will be fast.
