just install the pc suite and all the needed driver will be installed as well.

after half day using R6G04, two more changes noted :
1) under the USB setting, USB Charging and Display On Connection is no longer available
2) Calendar Daily view now comes in half-hour interval instead of one-hour

and as for the Camera button 4 bug, mine one actually does change the status icon AFTER i take the photo... rclxub.gif

performance and speed should be the latest R6G04 but it has the focus status icon bug.
in terms of minimal bug should be R6F41

i've taken the R6G since the status icon doesn't actually affect me much

IMO, if you're Chinese characters user, you can try to use SG firmware, cause its the only firmware that allow you to read and write Chinese. (Erm, HK firmware also can, but IMO its slightly laggy.)

try a different USB port of you pc.
if still cannot, try to reinstall the USB driver?

fastest would be a month or so. If you're expecting chinese version might be the slowest to be released.

google earth is combination of satellite images. you see the actual photograph.
google maps is just a drawn maps.

anyway, i found another annoying bugs.
when u receive new messages, the new messages is no longer highlighted in bold.
this is annoying for me as sometime i leave out certain message if it is not important, and when i'm free i want to check it out, i cant know which msg is the new one cuz they are no longer highlighted in bold. i have to go back to standby menu and select it.

grr. the new firmware is more buggy than previous one.

those special character appears just fine.
this font i used since day1 i got p1i and they worked fine one previous firmware.
i've used both SG and HK firmware and i couldn't tolerate with their handwriting recognization's lagging, no white border on handwriting and the fugly fonts without AA.
i'd stick to GW1

Chinese firmware will response to the font substitution method meh?
AFAIk the method doesn't works in chinese firmware.

many ways to do tis, 1 of it is if u press on the 4 button then press the camera snap button gently and release...

java apps that crashes on my p1i usually doesn't affect the phone. the OS remain responsive with the java apps being shut down

if you could get the whole firmware file, then u can directly flash the firmware using the flashing menu.

we only use XS++ to change the CDA.
job of flashing the firmware leave it to SEUS.
unless you have the original binary file of the firmware then only u can flash it that way, and it is very dangerous IMHO

it will be fixed once u updated the firmware.

the font in HK n SG firmware sucks is due to the missing anti-aliasing on the fonts.

if you want to read mandarin character by using this method, download the fonts from here : http://secentral.net/forum/index.php?topic=12325.0 and create a Resource/Fonts folder inside ur memory stick and paste the fonts inside.

if you just want some fancy fonts for bling bling effect, find your desired fonts, rename them to the same as above, and paste into the memory stick like above

might be connection problem like G-izzat said, might be installation error. try to re-run it?

a) so far no solution for backing up sms in memory card
b + c) go to the contacts/notes/tasks application, select more and select manager, then select backup.

PC suite will still be the best option for me to do backups.

For your case, please restart your pc, and SEUS should run perfectly already. I came across this problem when I was flashing my K810i. After restart, everything work just as smooth as your gf's face. tongue.gif

wifi does drain the power pretty fast but i never tried to test how long it could last.
few hours shouldn't be problem for fully charged one.

there's no latest CDA. ur set will get chinese support or not will be depending on what CDA u going to hack. Please read the front page
