Guys one question.

Previously in P990i, I can select which connection to use each time I open the web or use my Gmail (java). They will prompt me to select which group to use to connect to the Internet but I cant find it in P1i.

ANy ideas? Especially from the previous P990i users who I presume know what I am talking about =)

Easy, just change your firmware. To know more about this, refer to page one posted by fx. Remember to read the details including your warranty might void if you change the firmware.

wanna ask , the p1i still got the promotion tat freee the bluetooth headphone aah? how much is the price? some people say its 1900 but i wnet to klcc asked , they said its RM23++ lo...i think to get it ori if the promotion stil on

One day using the phone, found some problem don't know is my pc or the phone, i can't do a back up, it will reset the computer whenever it reaches the state reboot the phone, also when ever i unplug the usb cable, my pc will reset also, tried reinstall the software, still the same, anyone got same problem?

Look like serious problem here. Does it happen frequently or just once?

I do not have any problem doin my backup. I have used p1i for 4 months, the problem I encountered so far:-
1) Phone hang around 3 or 4 times by now.
2) Green tint

Things which I hope to be improved:-
1) Speaker
2) Wireless
3) Faster processor (as a smartphone, I say the current speed is alright, but always hope for faster)

So if anyone of you facing other problems, it could be indiviual set default.

as for the reset problem, might be ur OS's issue...

so far my problem is
Green Tint issue
Loud Speaker Call, Cant Hear/Talk to the person whenever on loud speaker - after i tried restart the phone for several times, it seem like working fine after 5 days of usage without restart it
Hang issue - happend once a bluemoon
Memory card cant detect, intermittent issue; so far this 5 days doesn't cause me any trouble yet

JdotL - I really suggest that you try doing the backup of your hp on another pc.. then u would know if its your system or your phone causing the problem...

anyways~!!! does anyone know where i can get games for P1i?? i downloaded some games.. but doesnt work with the touch screen.. some requires arrow buttons... which there isnt any.... >.<

i just lost my phone two weeks ago ang got a P1i as replacement last.

yeah, like most u guys here, it's HK set with chinese input and some chinese-named ringtone files. i don't think the name can be change to english so delete them except those that sound nice and just rename it.

so far never hang yet although i've been installing all sorts of software/games.me too still looking for games that are suitable for P1i...

and..isk..green tint too..

still.. i'm loving it!

Thanks guy for the input, i will try on my notebook, at the moment updated my firmware to the latest from my notebook, have not install the pc suit on my notebook yet, but so far i think is my pc causing the problem, damn, my nokia pc suit have no problem at all, SE is really week in software support.

Introduce a freeware money management program for you all, i like this software, being using it since i got the symbian phone. Can open multiple account.

Update;

Successfully backup my phone using pc suite on my notebook, and no more disconnect-reset, looks like need to reformat my pc oledi...

Another way of backup your phone's contact, calender and task is by using P1 internal backup

example, select calender > More > Calender manager > backup

Thanks for the tips, anyone using blue tooth dongle to connect? Is there anyway to back up sms internally? Can't find any command on that, or maybe i missed it, I'm using float's mobile agent to backup my sms at the moment, nice software, being using it since my first SE phone, it is freeway btw.

There is another spare stylus in the Box, else it might be missing or taken out
