got mine yesterday ....... my phone really BIG problem so they changed to a diff. set with diff. IMEI No compared to the one i send for repair ! finally after 1 months of chasing/calling/arguements n hustle !
happy now ...... hopefully no other probs will come ! or i will change to others even before the phone get seasoned

Anybody using this phone for Blackberry service (from Maxis or Celcom)?

hi everyone, juz got my phone back today. the shop claimed that the AP company had repaired the phone for me, but what i c is that the green monster still exist. so i guess the ap cant really look into this matter as they cant have the lens module from sony ericsson(and i suppose they cant get the part from elsewhere....who knows). and i had asked the sony ericsson service centre, they claimed that they can help on the repair as request by customer. and the cost of changing the camera module is around RM210. what i have in mind is that i wont go to ap for the claim anymore, i will rather straight go to service centre if they can really solve the issue.

To me AP warranty is virtually no warranty at all. Unless the phone absolutely need 1 to 1 replacement, better send it for repair at authorized SE service center. AP is like that lo, we pay less mah. Luckily the AP company didn't change internal part from your phone...

But hoh SE very giam siap one, AP set send to repair will be more expensive than Ori set. I asked them (Tmn Segar branch) they said midland set will get 20% discount for paid repair...

Someone mentioned that he sent his Midland (under warranty) P1i to change the camera module and SESC said they don't do it or something.

oh?how possible? but juz now i asked the receptionist(penang,prangin mall), she said if customer request, they can do it even AP set. of course the charge is beared by the owner.

of course AP set sent for repair will charge higher......but i was wondering if the ori set under warranty also charge??

where have u been send ur phone? to repair? facing what problem? mind to share? i using my p1i.. happily no problem at the moment

Green tint issue, still same issue after camera module changed (according to them), but AP warranty u know la , asking for new phone exchange but they never , but still loving it la...guess i have to live with the green tint camera still

perhaps try to take to SE service centre to fix it?? but they will charge for it though......

guys, i've been reading the thread from v1. thought SE phone always with good battery & camera. from what i read, many complaint on both these issue. thinking of getting one but yet to convince the capability of this phone. currently using o2 atom. wm6 to symbian/uiq? still think wm6 better, even compared to iphone.

wow, great to see more and more ppl become p1i owner...
anyway, how long have p1i been launch? 7months?
We will have a great 1st aniversary of p1i soon hehe...

Finally jump on the wagon, just got my p1i, so far only complain is the readability under the sun, not as good as nokia. Need some time to get use to the interface.

Set LCD brightness setting to full.

I am in my 4th month of owning the P1i.
I notice the hang issue is getting more frequent. It happened twice this month.

I always play around with the themes, icons & everyday used applications, I still find my P1i fresh as new.

I need some help.. I bought an AP P1i set.. It's under Final Choice and I'm not happy with one thing.. All the preset ringtone/themes names and demo video is in Chinese as in Chinese Characters..

How can I change it all to English?

You mean only the items you mention in chinese charactors? How above the menu items? Strange in deed, My phone is set to chinese languages when i bought it, i set it back to english afterward.

Got my phone yesterday Rm1425 with 1gb memory card. Huurray!!!

Yup.. The things that I mentioned is in Chinese char.. =(
What can I do? Anyone has any idea on whether or not Final Choice AP set, have without the Chinese Strokes on the keypad itself.. It's in red BTW.. I'm looking for a unit that's purely English..
