anyone here using ngage?(the app,not the phone )

does anyone know how to DISABLE network access?
everytime i play it,i have to enable offline mode,or else it'll suck my credits dry!
cant i enable it to automatically use my WLAN connection?
or is it because it is supposed to be a N81 app,that it cant be programmed to do so?

Go to your application, in the first tab, left click your soft button go to Options.
Then go to N-Gage Settings.
Then go to Connection Settings.
Connection Permission set to : Always ask before connecting
Preferred Access Point : Change it to your WLAN, NOT your 3G/GPRS
Alternative Access Point : Also change to your WLAN

I hope that'll help.

i think i've done that-twice.
but still it uses my network(3g/hsdpa) first
guess it would be best to wait for the official n82 version of this ngage app..

Try switching u APN control on. that way your phone will restrict any 3g/wap usage.

i don have MAxis 3g internet settings, even at the website they dont have it


u have to go to maxis wap site, from there u will get the links

that's the weird things, im using maxis 3g streaming for real player but im getting server timeout or
if i get connected it will shows the 'loading screen' with full bar and nothing happens.

How about changing your phone to GSM instead of UMTS mode?

Tools -> Settings -> Phone -> Network -> Network Mode -> GSM

I also don't have the APM Control thing. I think what he meant as APN for us is the Access Point. Try going to Access Point and delete all 3G/HSDPA settings inside it.

i try to install the latest NSU and i get a fatal error stated that there is script thingy... why i get this???

Saw the lightsaber app at first thought it's nice but it sounded stupid after I tried haha.

I think the problem is, you must set your phone profile to "General". Not Silent, or other customized profile in your h/p.

Mine one Zitron also dun have wor..how come huh??
