Skynet having the worse service, our company sent item to customer and after 3 days the customer complaint not yet received and when we check with the skynet, their reason is 'not enough staff' and if that day I didnt call, they also wont sent out the item as they will consider the item is not urgent.

good for you mate. rclxms.gif skynet here in butterworth didn't even bother to call. they will just slip the paper into my door stating i have to call them so i could pick up my parcel and provide a number that is unreachable at some point ( moreover, i was the one who pick up the paper into the floor just to realize that the'yd already gone.) only to read their online posting that i'm not at home to receive it. vmad.gif

Here's another story about Skynet everyone care and love about!

Ordered an item from another forumer last week, item supposed to arrived last Thursday; it didn't. Ok fine, maybe tomorrow then.

On Friday, still no delivery. Went to check on their website for tracking, my AWB does not exist. Felt somewhat worried and contacted the seller about this, he said he'll get into it.

Got a reply from the seller. Apparently they just updated the server.

Right. I was at home during that time. I called their office and they ( a girl picked up the phone) ask for my tracking number, and then went into silence. Later then she ask for my address, which I happily give it to her (as if it was not on the parcel?), and she said maybe the courier guy can't find my house. Then I gave her my number so the courier guy can call me if he can't find my house. I live in Kajang btw.

Today:

18 Jan 11 9:13 am CHERAS (KJG) Out for Delivery

It's 4:30 PM as the time I'm writing this. I've been waiting all day, I have nothing else to say.

I'm a very patient and lenient person, but when it comes to something that involves my money I expect to receive a good service and can be quick tempered when my expectations are not met. I don't think I'll be receiving my items today, maybe in a week, but f*** it I won't hold my hopes up and I certainly won't wait that long. I need that item right f***ing now.

I'll just order another one with Poslaju, just because I can.

Bullshit.

Can't say Skynet is extremely bad...it depends.

So far, I'm still satisfied with their service and it's one of the reliable courier service in Malaysia. Had opened and account with them last month, and to date, have already sent over 100 parcels with their service. Try avoid sending to those places in their zone 2 listing. (U can get the listing from them, or if u open a corporate account with them)

If they item is damaged upon receiving, it's probably the fault of the sender. You can't blame it all on them. Sender should pack an item properly to avoid damages in the 1st place. Use fragile sticker if there's any. When you find out that ur parcel has been opened...it's just ur unlucky day. If fact, all courier service do have such incidents. One of their delivery man is trying its luck to be rich faster. Lodge a complaint to SKynet with picture as proof and tracking number, so that they can trace the incident and trap down the thief.

Skynet even attempted to send a parcel to my customer for the third time. Double thumbs up for that!

Added on January 26, 2011, 5:57 amOh yes, pls avoid sending parcel to Butterworth by Skynet. They have a couple of bad and lazy staff in that branch.

Maybe, its just at some places where the service is bad. Which means its all on individual staffs? hmm.gif

It could mean there are more lazy fellas at Skynet, or simply because Skynet didn't hire people properly.

I have never used Skynet, heard too many stories. sweat.gif Usually I opt for Poslaju, most of my stuff I send by courier are small anyways.

This is a very common statement from them, I think it'll be better for them to be honest if they can't make it rather than telling a lie to their customers.

Even GDEX was quite similar, GDEX was supposed to come pick up a parcel for delivery from my place, they said the pickup truck will come by 6pm, it was near 7pm and the truck is no where to be seen. I gave a call to their customer service and they told me that the truck was caught in a jam in KL and will be coming soon. So I waited until 9pm and still no truck came. As it was pass 7pm, their customer service cannot be reached anymore as their phone lines will be turned off after 7pm.

So the next morning, GDEX called me and asked if any truck came to collect the parcel for delivery, I told them no and they apologized. They said that the driver wasn't sure if my office is still open at that time and so he did not come to collect. So when the driver came to collect it, I asked him why he did not come yesterday and he told me that there was a bad traffic jam near my place and so he did not want to come in to my area. When I heard this I was quite furious deep inside me, why tell a lie?

I think it would be better if they:
1) Called me to tell me that the driver can't make it, don't keep me waiting without any news.
2) Be honest, if you don't want to come then just tell the truth. It was an urgent parcel to send out that's why I waited until that late but got disappointed in the end.
